I have metastatic breast cancer since 2018. I have found Dr Rimawi an excellent physician. He communicates very well with a caring and compassionate manner. Always ready to answer my questions. He knows his medicine! I so appreciate his good care!

Calm, kind & very knowledgeable. Listens and addresses all concerns. I was first diagnosed in Mar 2011, and Dr. Rimawi was my oncology doc through chemo/rad/recon surgery and I continue to see him for follow ups. The entire staff at Baylor is wonderful from front desk, imaging, testing, docs, to infusion. I have always felt I was receiving exemplary care, without all the red tape bureaucracy that is often experienced at the other institution down the road with the initials MDA.

I have reported my poor care to the institution. He was completely indifferent to me and misled me concerning a medical trial. The past-surgical visit was a joke. I have gone to another institution, where I have received incredible care.

I could not break through with Dr. Rimawi?s staff to get effective care when I developed colitis, a known and serious (yet rare) side effect from the Taxotere I was given for chemotherapy. Dr. Rimawi had set a 100.3 deg temperature as the threshold for care, leaving me in a life-threatening situation. When I hit that fever on Thanksgiving morning, I reached a doctor on call, who sent me to the emergency room. I spent 4 days in the hospital. Sad that I was in 2 clinical trials for him.
