Dr. Mouhanad Freih, MD

I had a stemi out of the blue and Dr Freih performed a life-saving pci with 2 stents in LAD. My family was impressed with his explanation of the procedure afterwards. Later, he stopped in ICU to talk with me briefly. His kind bedside manner was appreciated . Also, Shelby, NP at his office, took time at 2 follow-up appts to explain my meds, chart, and answer my questions. 6 months out I am doing well under such goid care, including cardio rehab. Thank you, Dr Freih and staff, you are truly appreciated by me and my family. 5 stars all the way!

Rude, discourteous, demeaning staff and doctor. I would NEVER return to this office .

I needed a pre op for a minor procedure and my ekg came up abnormal. My primary ordered a stress test and Dr Freih was in the hospital that day and took over my care. He prescribed several tests to conclude I had no absolute heart issues. He’s always kind and caring and I have an annual with him every year. I’m very happy with Dr Freih!

Dr. Freih and the NP Shelby are great. They both take the time to explain conditions and treatment. Appointments are not rushed. The staff are awesome

I had near fatal clots in both lungs and almost died except for Dr. Freih’s unbelievable expertise in removing the clots and saving my life. As a doctor I can tell you that there is no amount of appreciation and praise for Dr. Freih. His office is also amazing, especially his NP Shelby. It doesn’t get any better than Dr. Freih and his office.

Dr. Freih is a brilliant interventional cardiologist. He saved my husband’s life by removing his pulmonary embolisms.

Yes he is the best in my book. Back in February 22, 2020 I had a heart attack and he was there to greet me when the ambulance took me to the hospital. He will be direct with you and will do what it takes to get you the treatment you need. My recovery has been wonderful because of him. He wasted no time getting me to the cath lab to put in 2 stents in on the left side of my heart. We do not reside at this time in Delaware ,but I do wish I could keep him as my Heart Doctor. He wasted no time in getting me up to the cath Lab, and the treatment at Beebe Medical was top notch .

Last August I was on the beach in Rehoboth when I started experiencing heart attack symptoms. Lifeguards called an ambulance and I was taken to BeBe hospital. I had a heart attack before when I was 36 now I was 49 and I am from Maryland with no doctors in Delaware. They determined I needed a catheterization and Dr Freih did my procedure. I was nervous because I did not know him and was not familiar with the hospital. He found that my artery was 70% blocked & I needed 3 stents. He got the first one in fine but had a problem getting the second & third one in because of the shape of my artery. He called in for another dr in case I needed open heart surgery. Thankfully with his patience & expertise he got the other two in & I didn’t need open heart. Afterwards when I was in recovery he showed my family the films and explained everything. I was very impressed with Dr. Freih & thankful he was there that day to do my surgery. He was very compassionate, I felt very comfortable with him.

Dr. Freih is the only Cardiologist for me. He treated me for a blood clot in my lungs and made me feel very comfortable about the procedure I was having done. His bed side manner is kind and informative. I probable would have not had the procedure I did if it wasn't for his concern and clarity. I've recovered from a very serious health situation thanks to Dr. Freih and would highly recommend him to anyone needing cardiac care. He is the BEST!

I would not take any of the anticoagulants he prescribed. He then offered, as a condition of taking one of his anticoagulants, a corrective procedure knowing that my condition prevented my from receiving that procedure. Manipulative- not the first time I've encountered this in the medical industry. He concluded each "exam" by holding a stethoscope near my shirt but never against my body. There is no possible way he could have heard by heart. After each "exam" I knew this was going nowhere.

I first met Dr Freih a few years back, taking my Mom to an appointment. At that time I thought he was a kid very efficient doctor, unlike some in the area. Not long after, I needed to see him myself, and most recently when I took an unfortunate blackout. Dr. Freih was aggressive by ordering a battery of tests to rule out any such cardiac issues. My results are coming back pretty well at this point. For the most part, his staff is friendly and efficient. I do have a problem with one lady though.

Dr. Freih, was extremely professional, caring and took the time to discuss and address all of my medical issues. Very pleased with his service. His staff are very caring and make you feel you are part of the family. My wife was so impressed she made an appointment with Dr. Freih. I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Freih has done a great job of overseeing my care through hypertenson, atherosclerosis and ventricle tachycardia. I've been years now with an active life and no problems or restrictions. I have every confidence in Dr. Freih....And he is always very pleasant, friendly and polite.
