Horrible Care it concerns me
Dr. Amed was insulting, and he slandered, defamed, my character. He also discriminated against me. He stated that all Sickle Cell patients are Drug Abusers . He was well aware that I was a Sickle Cell patient when he made this statement. I have filled a complaint with Office Of Civil Rights (OCR). I WANT HIM TO FINISHED WITH PRACTICING MEDICINE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. This type of behavior is TOTALLY UNEXCUSABLE and it should never be exhibited in any way shape our fashion. Please don't even consider his man.

The best office staff!
My husband and I have lived in multiple states; therefore, he's had to change doctors several times over the years. Dr Ahmed and his staff are the best. They all work in the field they should be working in. What I mean by that is that they care, are professional and helpful. NP Agala, who works in Dr Ahmed practice, is the nurse my husband sees for his follow ups, and we love her. She obviously cares about her patients. Also, when the office staff say they are going to do something, they actually do it. They don't hang up on you or try to pass the ball to someone else. We are so grateful to have found them.

When i 1st went to this Dr Ahmed i was on a high dose of meds & i asked him at my 1st visit & he knew my medical records & history, being a 72 yr old woman i asked him (only time i ever saw the Dr)& i asked him straight up, if u decide to take me off these meds u won't just make me go cold?!? Oh no we will taper u off because of my age i was concerned: i get a call from PA telling me it's best to find another Dr after a yr of giving me pain meds this is wrong! I could get it if i gave them a dirty ua, but that wasn't the case~just a Fri evening a call Dr. Ahmed is not comfortable prescribing that much medicine! Well im in agony I'm glad he's comfortable~NOT

Bad front desk and takes forever to be
Definitely would not recommend. They take so long to be seen with an appointment. They don't honor appointments. If it takes longer than 2 hours to be seen for pain management then go elsewhere. Including that front desk has attitude from Mars and doesn't care if your in pain, crutches or a wheelchair. They have no compassion for patients.

Best Pain Management Dr
This year, during the holidays, I was able to make 3 loaves of cranberry/orange bread, make dinner on many nights, and had a lot of joy with my kids & grandson. This is because of Dr Ahmed. My back is a trainwreck. Cars are off the tracks in my lumbar, thoracic, & cervical (neck) regions. The curvatures are progressive, the arthritis is severe, and on any given day, nerves get stepped on in the chaos. I had a very rare condition arise, thoracic radiculopathy. It involved the root of a nerve, and it was so bad I could barely think. I have fibromyalgia to amplify it, too.I told Dr Ahmed where and how it hurt, and he immediately knew what it was, and did an injection in exactly the right place. The relief was almost immediate, and that pain was gone.I do not trust any doctor, but Dr Ahmed, to work on my back. Over the past few years, he has made it possible for me to live my life.

Cruel
Update . This doctor decision to ban me has set off a chain of disasters in my life. I am now out over $5K in related Dr bills due to the stress and anxiety caused. I had a nervous breakdown due to my extreme neck pain and have lost my job. I made wrong move in bed last night, my neck popped and is in excruciating pain. I don't know anyone who can take me to Baytown. Essentially, this doctor banning me for wanting a test result without paying for an expensive appointment was a death sentence for me.Update. I drove all the way out to Baytown to see Dr Okezie who I will review. But what a difference from Dr. Ahmed and his office that from top to bottom the entire staff treated me with respect and like a human. I am finally going to get treatment for my herniated disc in my neck on 10-2, which should have been 8-7.But Dr Ahmed banned me because I wanted to know the outcome of lab work. His decision there has not only caused me tremendous pain and suffering...I had to t

Dr. Ahmed took excellent care of one of my serious pain problems in my lower back. He took time to explain all aspects of the surgery that he did about a month ago. Everything went very well and came out exactly as he stated. This is my third pain management Dr. to go to with my problem, and is the first Dr. to actually solve my problem.

DO NOT GO HERE
To Start I HAVE filed a complaint with the medical board. I walked into the Dr. office and filled the forms. I was taken to the back where I waited for Dr. Ahmed. When he walked in he was very rude with his wording. I was a new patient and this was my 1st visit. Dr. Ahmed obviously had NOT pulled my medical records as he did NOT know my history. I have been treated by Texas Pain Physician for the last 3-4 years after a horrible car accident. After speaking to me for 1 min, Dr. Ahmed stated that the pain I feel is NOT real, and caused by the pain medication that I have been taking prescribed by Texas Pain Physician for the last 3 years. I told him I was treated by the operating physician at the time of accident for 1yr after the wreck and prescribed pain medication but there was a gap of 3mo between that I had no meds. I asked so was that pain real, he said yes so I said you just said my pain caused by meds. Dr. Ahmed said I didn't say that... I recorded convo if anyone want to hear.

Infusion Center Hour Changes and Rude Staff
Have been a patient for over two years. With no notice, I received a call changing the infusion center location and days with no formal notification. Left many messages with Nadine and for the doctor to call back without success. Very disappointed that the staff and the doctor (via his staff) do not care about patients.

Finally. Pain relief.
I can not brag enough about this doctor. My husband has had pain for over 2 years, in the right gluteal area. Within 15 minutes of assessing him. Dr. Ahmed made a diagnosis. Performed a nerve block & my husband walked out of there, standing up straight & without his cane. I’m a retired RN of 40 yrs.+. I can honestly say this doctor is educated, gifted & is very personable.

Dr. Ahmed is a kind caring man who listens to his patients and will answer any questions you may have. His staff is very friendly and supportive. I suffered from chronic back pain and another doctor recommended Dr. Ahmed. After trying some treatments for my pain we decided on a Pain Pump implant. Today I am pain free due to my implant and feeling very grateful for Dr. Ahmed’s expertise. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

My 83 year old mother was scheduled for a 9:45am procedure, waited 2 1/2 hrs to be called back. They also double booked this time with another patient. She felt rushed spent less than 15min for procedure, felt like a cattle call. Staff unprofessional kept dodging the question about how much longer, just kept giving excuses. Staff seemed more concerned about closing shop for lunch than how patients were feeling for still waiting. Not only that she ended up with another patients info! HIPPA violation were not even sure if her info was passed to that patient. Called and advised of all that happen all they could say is "sorry" refuse to refund copay and charge for procedure. My question to this doctor is what if this were you Mother waiting what would you expect? My advise turn around and find another doctor that won't spend 2 hours to see you for only 15 min.

Dr. Ahmed is one of the most patient and caring doctors than I have ever seen. He takes his time when seeing a patient and never leaves the exam room until he is sure that he has answered all of your questions. I would most definitely recommend him!!! ??????
