He operated on my husband for a hernia and did the wrong side. Plus, he ended up needing to have the correct side redone again.

Terrible
Had emergency appendectomy, hit a nerve in my leg never healed. Wound up getting paratonitis on top of it because of infection! Leg is ruined for life. He wont admit it. Never reccomend this guy!

Dr. BenMaamer was very thoughtful and understanding. He informed me as to exactly what he was going to do during our first visit and then reviewed what he was going to do the morning of surgery. Also, it’s only been 10 days and I can hardly see the incision. This is important because he removed the right lobe of my thyroid which would be very difficult to cover up.

Terrible! Very cocky and delivered negative findings out of the blue and never addressed the problem that I was there for. He said I would die on the table if I had the surgery needed to reverse a problem that I had and that the colostomy I was supposed to have for two months would be permanent for life. Needless to say I went for a 2nd opinion and am doing just fine.

My son had an emergency appendectomy done. He did a great job of explaining what was going to happen and what did happen. We had a follow up visit with him a couple weeks later and all was well. I feel he did a great job and was personable.
