Dr. Muktar was my mother's attending physician while she was hospitalized in Forbes Regional Hospital. She had a very lengthy hospitalization, 4 weeks in Excela Westmoreland, 2 weeks in West Penn Hospital, tben transfer to Forbes Inpatient rehab. She was discharged home, then readmitted to Forbes on Christmas day. Dr. Muktar accepted her as his patient noth times, treated her with kindness and respect, and helped her to progress to discharge home. He is an outstanding physician.

Dr. Mukhtar took care of my elderly father during a hospital admission and graciously accepted him as a new patient. He is an excellent diagnostician and has an excellent bedside manner. He relates very well to his patients and family members, and I would highly recommend him!

He is compassionate and takes time to Listen to your ailments he is not emotional but responds politely. He is not eager to overly prescribe medications and one of the reasons I like him so well. He always makes time for you in his busy schedule whether you need an appointment for being sick or if you call in with a question. I am very satisfied with DR Mukhtar as my PCP
