I couldn't agree more with everyone. Very rude
Poor bed side manner and very rude. Yet every time I go to Valley hospital I'm stuck with him as my Dr. for my stomach issues.

I went to desert spring ER on Saturday 12/30/2023 @ 11:16 am for what I thought was low platelet level. After being tested I was made aware that my platelet count was @ 6. Dr. Rice then made contact with Valley Hospital to have me transferred there for treatment of a platelet infusion. Upon my arrival at Valley I met Dr Tufail at approximately 4 pm. His abrupt mannerism caught me way off guard as he walked into my room and asked "who are you"? Seemed quite an odd 1st way to communicate with a patient but I responded with my name. He then asked why am I here. I responded by making him aware of my condition of ITP with low platelets level of 6. His response was "I know what your condition is but what are you expecting from this Hospital trip"? I started to say that I believed I was there for an infusion of platelets but as each time I attempted to speak I was very rudely interrupted. He then said "I guess since you're already here I'll give you the platelets infusion but this is not a remedy" as though the platelets were coming out of his personal reserve. He literally said that he saw in my file that I'd lived with a platelet count of @ or below 1 for months and he was confused as to why I'd come to the hospital and not my oncologist. Mind you it was Saturday afternoon and Monday is a federal holiday. So apparently in his mind I was wasting his time and his platelets and shouldn't be there. He said his plan was to give me an infusion and send me home but it wouldn't help my situation any. I've never been in contact with such an entitled Dr and in any other setting in the world if he spoke to people as he does his patients he'd most definitely find himself in many violent confrontations. He should be revoked of his license to practice medicine in Nevada as well as anywhere else. Upon searching his name there are more then 6 years of reviews without 1 person stating anything positive about this man and with numerous complaints that sound exactly as mine. So I ask you... are all the strangers having the exact same thing to say about this man just making it up or does he have a severe bedside manner problem?

The worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure to treat me. Arrogant and rude. 2 days after a major abdominal surgery he came into my room and told me he was discharging me, as I was suffering from an acute pancreatitis attack, a life threatening condition. He even threatened to call for hospital security to forcibly throw me out. I wound up an inpatient for another 2 weeks after another doctor intervened. I can't understand why he is still allowed to practice medicine in the U.S.

Does not care about his patients and his billing department sent me to collections even after I paid my bill. I would not recommend him at all!
