Dr. Mujahid Hines, MD

Amazing Doctor! My aunt recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Hines and she can now see things I can’t! He took his time explaining things and made us both feel comfortable with entire process. We will both be telling our friends about him as we feel blessed that we stumbled upon him.

I’ve seen this doctor for 6 months and it’s almost like he doesn’t listen to the answers to his questions. He asked me the same question of where I’m from and what I do, which is work in the medical field, when after a few visits you’d think he’d have a gist. Each visit for a chalazion he changed his patient education and made me feel like I should have known that the proper treatment was what he was saying now, even though I followed his previous instructions to a T. When I asked questions, at one point he told me “I wouldn’t know what to look for.” The cake for me was stating at my last visit he’d remove my chalazion, and this time he said he never would due to positioning. Waste of copay money to talk to a provider who doesn’t listen, talks down to you, and jerks you around by changing plans each visit. The one thing he hasn’t learned is basic treatment of patients.

I have worn glasses or contacts for the last 63 years. In Feb. 2018 I had cataract surgery on both eyes. My surgeon was Dr. Mujahid Hines. Dr. Hines was attentive, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. I now have better near, distant, and mid-vision then I had when wearing my contacts. I highly recommend Dr. Hines. Thank you Dr. Hines!

I wore contacts for 45 years and finally decided I needed a change. After extensive research I chose Kleiman Evangilista. I met with Dr. Mujahid Hines and was very impressed with his honesty and professionalism. We decided I was indeed a candidate for toric-restore lens surgery. There are many good doctors that perform cataract surgery but if you want one of the best then Dr. Mujahid Hines is the one to pick! He is confident, progressive, uses the latest technology and treats you with respect and care, putting you at ease. The friendly and competent office and nursing staff were a pleasure to work with. The whole experience from my first visit to my post surgery follow up visit was great. I definitely recommend Dr. Hines for your eye care needs.

I would highly recommend Dr. Hines. He was very thorough in the pre op exam and explained the procedure and my options. He explains everything and answers my questions with positive answers. I am very happy with my procedures and would highly recommend Dr. Hines to everyone.

Dr. Hines corrected my cataracts and not only are they gone after surgery, I have better vision than I have had in a long time. I can drive at night and read a paper without glasses. Now I do not have to have a second surgery to correct my eye drainage. Dr. Hines explained things I did not understand and made sure I understood. He was very caring and thorough.

I took my 95-year-old mother to Dr. Hines five years ago when she moved here from Missouri. We were both extremely impressed with how completely thorough he was. Instead of simply diagnosing and treating her eyes, he was attentive to her overall physical health and well being. Dr. Hines identified her glaucoma which had previously gone undiagnosed. She finds him to be not only one of the kindest physicians, but she credits him for prevention of further loss of vision.

Dr. Hines is a unique find. We had heard great things from a family friend who sees him, but he was even better than we expected. He is a compassionate and caring doctor. I felt that he cared about making sure I understood what was wrong with my eyes. I've seen a lot of eye doctors over the past 20+ years but hope to stick with dr hines from now on. 5 star doctor.

Dr. Hines is an excellent doctor. I regret very much that he left Irving. It is not as convenient to get to his new office for me; however, I think so highly of him that I am seriously considering going the distance. Dr. Hines is terrific on every front. Smart, knowledgeable, great bedside manner and most of all is a caring person... We sought him out after he changed to a different practice..

My experience with Dr. Hines was very pleasant. He showed great concern my first visit due to the fact that I had zoster and it had gotten into my eye. Following that first visit he was always very personable, he made it seem like I was his only patient because he remembered everything I had mentioned to him in the previous visits.
