Dr. Munif Alkouz, MD

He didn’t seem to understand my questions. He just stared at me when I spoke to him. He didn’t answer the questions I asked. He ordered a bunch of expensive tests, but couldn’t explain them. He had a childlike quality to him despite being a grown man. I didn’t trust him.

Always on time and shows he cares about my welfare. I feel confident that I am getting excellent care from him and his staff.

Dr. Alkouz very patiently explained about the ECHO/STRESS tests that he was scheduling for me along with explaining all of the do's and don'ts prior to the tests. Still a little nervous, but he assured me that it will be fine.

Dr Alkouz Explains everything well , Very easy to talk too, Shows compassion. His assistant is great also, very attenable on what's going on with each patient with the patients tests and information right on the screen in front of her. I recommend them both. Great team work Thank You!

I had read previous reviews of Dr. Alkouz, so I was optimistic about my first appointment. The morning of my appointment, I received 2 phone calls informing me that ‘due to an unforeseen event, my appointment was being moved later in the day and if I could not make it, another appointment would have to be scheduled. When I agreed to the later time, I was told, they would be ‘squeezing’ me in. I worried that my appointment would be rushed, but everyone appeared relaxed and when Dr. Alkouz entered the room, he made eye contact and asked questions and, most importantly, listened to me. I left feeling my concerns had been heard and my problems were being addressed.

Dr. Alkouz is very thorough and explains exams and procedures completely and clearly.

Every encounter I have had with Dr. Alkouz, whether a televisit or in person, has been a good experience. I do not feel rushed. I feel that all of my questions are answered. He's very pleasant. His staff are very efficient.

This was my first visit with the heat hospital doctors. The check in process was fast, as I did most of the paperwork the day before. There were a few things I had to do again but not too bad. They also wanted pictures of my ID, medical insurance cards and Medicare cards. I waited less than 5 minutes before I was brought to the back. At this point an immediate ECG was done. Then about another 5 minute wait for the doctor. The doctor was polite and introduced himself and his assistant. However this is where I did not like the encounter. Everyone was extremely hurries and fast. As well as it kind of felt like I want being listened to. I had to interrupt the doctor and assistance with a more stern interruption just to get a response. After that it felt like what I said didn't matter. The doctor did look at a test I had done at a previous hospital only 2 weeks earlier. However he just dismissed several irregularities in the test. Put in for a test and sent me on my way. Too short oftime

Dr Alkouz asked good questions, listened carefully to my issues and set up good tests to find answers.

My experience with Dr. Alkouz was good. Going downtown for the stress test was good. What is unacceptable and NOT BEST PRACTICE is having a follow up appointment scheduled months following my stress test. Dr. Alkouz and his staff were very professional and helpful during my cardiology visit. In addition to my checkup, he helped by ordering new local prescriptions to replace mine from my previous state of Montana.

I felt very secure and confident in Dr. Alkouz’s ability and knowledge to treat my cardiac diseases and issues. He, and his staff were pleasant, courteous and caring. Staff advised me to call anytime if I have questions. Follow up appointment was set for 6 weeks, as requested by the doctor. I feel grateful to have Dr Alkouz be my cardiologist.
