I have been using Dr. Rahman for about 6 years. First meeting he is thorough in discussing and getting to know me as a patient. After 3 months and a blood test, we get together to discuss the findings and remedy the amount of medication. My only issue is the new members of the front desk, they sometimes do not follow through in sending messages to Dr. Rahman. I have to call the various businesses to see if they had received a fax from Dr. Rahman. Most of the time, no is the answer. Overall, I enjoy being treated by Dr. Rahman with my Diabetes. The front desk will have to remedy their issues in sending information to the Doctor from their patients. I still give a 5 plus rating to this office, because the Doctor knows what he is doing.

I have been with him for years. I have never once had a an appointment on time. I will no longer be seeing him. He is not late because he is seeing other people he is late because he doesnt show up on time. He does not respect his patients and has no bedside manner.

Disappointing would be an understatement. He was over an hour late for my appointment despite it being earlier in the morning, and was not at all friendly. He did not bother to read my records before coming in, and didn’t even know what condition he was seeing me for, then prescribed medication for me before even ordering lab work. He pushed even more medication through the visit and after lab results came back rather than considering my preference for non-pill treatment options. He did order several of my usual lab tests, and did not bother to schedule an appointment to go over my lab results in person. I found the office staff to be rude as well. I will be finding a new endocrinologist, even if it means traveling several hours.

Absolutely awful. I have had to reschedule numerous times after taking off for an appointment and having to cancel because he is always at least 30-45 minutes at the least late. The staff is rude and not helpful. Billed me for cancelled the day before (again because of work schedule and knowing he would be way behind) received a bill for $35. When you finally get seen he is not helpful at all! Doesn’t even speak for more than 2 minutes

Waited 45 min for initial apt. PA seemed attentive and ordered labs, said she would follow up in a week with next step. No call, left multiple messages with front desk who acted as though I imposed on their day asking for results. After 5 requests in 4 weeks, receptionist called and said "it's normal." When I asked what was my next step I was told they call back. 2 hours later, I was told "Find a pcp to ask questions." Didn't even read my chart to see my PCP REFERRED me there. Will not return.

Today will be my last visit with Dr. Abdul. He was 1 1/2 hours late (I waited in a back room with my 5 year old asking if he forgot us). When he finally came in, he spent less than 5 minutes with me. I was in the ER 2 weeks ago for symptoms relating to my condition and he dismissed them and said I needed a different specialist. He looked at his computer the entire time, and never examined me at all. I’ve been keeping a journal of my symptoms since my ER visit and he never looked at it.

The staff is extremely rude. The receptionists have been short with me on two occasions. It is almost as if patients are intruding on their time. The doctor overbooks, and at two visits has came in over 30-45 minutes late. My first appointment was 1.5 hours behind schedule. I feel as though both the doctor and nurse practitioner are playing a guessing game with people's health. They are not good about following up or calling in refills in a timely manner. Please go see a real specialist!

First time apt with the dr was on 12/6. I waited over a hour to be seen and my apt lasted all of 5mins. Dr walked into the office, never shook hands to introduce himself, never made eye contact with me, and seemed very dismissive of my concerns. I was there for a thyroid consult and the dr never even asked as to how I was feeling nor did he even exam me (you would think that he would at least exam my neck to feel if the thyroid is enlarged). Not a dr that I would recommend.

Dr. Adbul is by far the best endocrinologist I've seen in over 30 years of needing care in this specialty. He's very knowledgeable of my condition and concerned about my health. Also, he's extremely polite and courteous. Couldn't be happier with being in his care.

Was able to get an appointment easily, however, I waited for an hour before he saw me. When I asked a question about a specific symptom he pointed to a poster and told me to read it. He bedside manner was awful. He was dismissive, condensending, and rude. Can't wait for the first appointment with my new doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Abdul-Rahman for about 2 years and I have had enough!
