Have lived decades with psoriasis with other dermatologists giving ineffective steroid creams. Dr Luu was the only one to aggressively treat it with biologic shots that cleared 90% of this horrible skin disorder. So grateful to him and his staff.

TL/DR: My child (10 yrs) was diagnosed with cutaneous (skin) lupus. This "doctor" told a story of a person who died of the same disorder to my child on the first visit. When a critical skin condition arose, he refused to see my child even if we paid him with money. This guy is a verified P.OS. My child (10 yrs) is facing a diagnosis of cutaneous (skin) lupus. This "doctor" Luu was referred to us by the primary care physician via a dermatology referral. Specialist visits require those. The first visit is when we need the most info and sensitivity and this punk tells my child a story about another child that had the same condition and "ended up dying from it." What the hell?? Weeks later when a skin condition potentially lupus related comes up he flat out refuses to see my child despite all doctors saying a biopsy is needed from the dermatologist. His office staff and he himself said they wouldn't see us EVEN If WE PAID CASH. Avoid this guy at all costs even if you need to change docs.

I have been Dr. Luu's patient for at least 15 years now. He's very knowledgeable, nice, and good. He truly cares about his patient like a real doctor should. My only complaint is now that he has so many patients, it's more difficult to see him. Sometimes, I'd have to wait 1-3 months for an appointment which is kinda crazy.

The worst doctor I have ever met. He should be ashamed to call himself a doctor. This guy who calls himself a doctor asks the patient what the cause of the problem is and when you tell him you don't know what the cause is he gets mad and gives you attitude. That is the doctor's job to figure that out. If we knew what the cause was for everything we would all be doctors.
