Terrible
Inept physician. Was seen on a Wednesday and forgot to prescribe meds to pharmacy even after several calls to ask to. Finally, nurse called them in on Monday. If you are looking for someone that is interested in patients, find someone else. Limited diagnostic abilities regarding bloodwork results and prefers to write referrals than take any care effort.

Dr. Vastey is concerned, considerate and listens to your questions. The staff however, is not congenial, unhelpful and does not seem to care about you as a patient. Did not address a follow up appointment, was told “you can make one if you want “. (I’m a cancer patient) Isn’t it standard to make a follow up appointment??? Staff seems terribly uninterested in me as a patient. I get more respect at Publix super market. I’m extremely disappointed in the staff. I was at Shands Davis cancer center and UF GYN for 3 years, the staff was excellent, not so much at Heath Brook.

No one answers the phone!
Yesterday and again today I tried to contact her office but no one answers the phone after 12-15 minutes. No way would I visit a doctor with this understaffed front desk.

Waste of time
My wife needed a sleep medicine refilled. Dr. Vastey made her feel so bad about her weight and lectured her for over 30 minutes about it. She took so long destroying my wife's self esteem that my wife couldn't even get her sleep med filled because when she got done it was after office hours and they legally couldn't fill it because it's controlled. Completely unacceptable, would rate 0 stars if I could.
