There is no doubt whatsoever that Dr. Alzubaidi is the best in her field, but, sorry to say that her receptionist is not. I am not going to go in detail but i was so upset from the way that young lady treated me that i requested to retrieve my medical records so i can see another doctor. Dr. Alzubaidi i am sorry to loose you as my doctor, again you are one of the best but i don't accept rudeness among other things.

Frustrating
Dr. Al-Zubaidi was late to every appointment. She appeared disorganized during the appointments and did not look at results/bloodwork prior to meeting with us. The appointments were for my 15 year old son and she just kept ordering tests and never giving any treatment. I feel like she was just trying to make money from appointments and tests. She did not help my son nor did she follow up as she said she would with a treatment plan. We went to another endocrinologist for actual help.

So Far,I can't complain. I actually switched from an INOVA Endocronologist who was ready to put me under the knife then first exhausting all means in controlling my Hyperthyroidism.I have now been seeing Dr. Al for about a year. My thyroid symptoms are finally starting to settle down. Dr. Al's persistence to control my meds and lab outcomes have been great! She takes her time to listen to you and really cares to get the best results. I prefer getting many calls to schedule, confirm or reconfirm than most doctors who these days are almost unreachable. Dr. Al has a great support staff who is on top of the patient's scheduling needs! I highly recommend her expertise.

I switched insulin, and she told me to increase the number of units/day by 40%. Turns out that I actually needed to decrease my dose by 1 unit under the new insulin. I don't understand how she came up with the idea to increase my dose by so much, but she wasn't following the standard procedure for that insulin. This could've resulted in severe lows. The office is really disorganized, and it's really difficult to get the receptionists to do anything that you need like an insurance preauthorization

I do not usually write reviews but people need to know what they are getting into before they visit thus doctor. Plan on waiting 2-3 hours!!! And I'm not joking or exaggerating. First time I went I had a 3:15 appointment and did not leave the office until around 6:45. My second appointment I get a call before my appointment saying the doctor is running 2 hours behind! Really! Are you kidding me?? All I can think of is greed to schedule that many patients to the point that you are ALWAYS runnin

If you're going to whine about waiting, then don't go to Dr. Alzubaidi. It's as simple as that. Now if you place high value on seeing one of the best endocrinologists in town and don't mind the wait then she's your girl. She provides excellent diagnosis and care for my Hashimoto's thyroiditis and is willing to delve deeper and offer more advice than my previous doctors. She also discovered that my Vitamin D levels were critically low. My previous doctors never even checked.

As other patients have said - you will never see her when your appointment is actually scheduled. This being said - she will also never push you out of the office without answering any question or concern that you have. Which would you rather have? If you can plan in advance, which you can, simply by calling prior to your appointment. You will have a doctor that actually listens to individuals rather than lumping you into the masses.

This doctor is ignorant and dismissive of the patients time. The constant rescheduling and cancelling of appointments and disregard for the health of the patient is a dangerous mixture. See her at your own peril. Her staff is inconsistent also. Sometimes friendly and sometimes rude, depending on who is working. For someone who is so 'busy', it is amazing that there is usually only one other in the office waiting to see her.

Dr. Al-Zubaidi is knowledgeable, caring, and spends all the time necessary to understand your issues *and* to explain them in great detail. Have been her patient for years, now. As for scheduling, the staff most-often calls to help determine a good arrival time. On the rare occasion they do not, simply call myself. It is not the most convenient - BUT - it is more than worth it for her top-notch treatment. If you have a very tight schedule, the earlier in the day, the less wait.

She was the worse, didn't have time to explain anything and just prescribe more insulin and I end it up on the emergency room again because I drop so much, and in the top of that after 3 years she send me a bill first for 255 and then 400 dollars, I tried to call her office many time nobody was available to help me because the person who does it only works on Monday after 5pm, fro 1 to 2 hours a week. This is the worse office I ever went. I will not recommend it.

Saw this doctor for elevations of calcium in my blood she ran more blood work which found elevations of calcium and elevation of kidney functions. She said to keep an eye on the calcium elevations every six months and that the kidney functions were probably just due to dehydration. Within a week after this appointment I was rushed to the emergency room with riggers and a diagnosed with a severe kidney infection leading to blood sepsis. Do to her neglect I could have died.

Dr. Alzubaidi is a good doctor, but you will have to wait no less than 2 hours at EVERY appointment and as much as 3 1/2 hours. The day before each appointment, you will receive a call telling you that she is running behind and rescheduling for a later hour, and even when you get there you will still have to wait a couple of hours. And when you ask her directly, she just tells you if she took less patients she would be able to afford her rent and has no plans of addressing the problem.
