I had both of my knee surgeries with Dr. Fasihi, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. He provided amazing care throughout both procedures, explaining every step of the process clearly and was always being available to answer my questions. He even took the extra step to visit me during physical therapy to check on my progress. Thank you for everything Dr. Fasihi!

Went Above and Beyond!!
Dr. Fasihi repaired my ACL beautifully. I recovered at a record speed (less than the expected time), and was taken care of every step of the way. When I had first torn my ACL, I had a trip to Italy scheduled. Dr. Fasihi was the first one to tell me that I would be able to go, and still enjoy, the trip. He gave me a set of instructions to follow to strengthen my knee before my surgery, leaving me perfectly fine to go on my trip. After surgery Dr. Fasihi was very attentive to my care and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. He ordered me a knee brace and gave me exercises that were well oriented to the sports I would be returning to. I would 100% recommend Dr. Fasihi and am so grateful that he was my surgeon.

Went above and beyond with my shoulder issues
Dr. Fasihi was fabulous from start to finish with my torn Rotator Cuff. He was patient and explained what would happen after the surgery, mentioned any and all possible outcomes. He even took care of a referral for my knee and trigger finger. I would highly recommend him if you need shoulder surgery. I will definitely request him if I ever need surgery on my shoulder again.

Messed up my ACL
Dr. Fasihi told me 75-85 percent of my ACL was torn and suggested I take a month to do PT and see if I could recover without a surgery. He assured me that was a strong possibility I could make it without surgery so I trusted him. When my knee was not better, he didn’t seem too surprised. I did not get a surgery until July which was four months after the injury. He did not stitch me up well, which means, when I bent my leg blood would come out. When I asked him about it a week after surgery, he didn’t say much, just took the stitches out. I have had pain the whole way through recovery that was not addressed. I finally left Kaiser and went to my old orthopedic. Turns out he put my graft in incorrectly as well as the bolts which is why I’m in pain everyday. I am 9 months post surgery and cannot run, jump or even stand/walk long periods of time without pain. I will now have to redo the surgery again to make up for his mess up. If you want a guaranteed fix, I wouldn’t see him.

I visited Urgent Care at Tysons Corner Kaiser Permanente for badly infected animal bites on my fingers and in excruciating pain. Dr. Najam Fasihi operated and saved my finger. He saw me three more times to observe my progress. Dr. Fasihi excellent bedside manner and communication was most reassuring. I think being such complete doctor is a gift to patients and i am very grateful , job well done, thank you.

I saw Dr. Fasihi in Tysons Corner for a labrum tear in my hip. He treated me the best. I would recommend him to anyone. Even after the surgery he responded to my emails and concerns. He even called me on a Sunday to check on me. I am thankful that he done by surgery. My surgery was in May 2019.

Dr. Fasihi is the epitome of what it means to be a doctor! He was phenomenal. After having difficult time recovering from a previous ACL and Double Meniscus repair, I consulted with Dr. Fasihi. He took the time to explain and study my case by reviewing every test, scans, and report prior to telling me what he recommends to do. I felt comfortable in his decision and game plan for the surgery itself. The day of my surgery he was very outgoing, helped me relax and explain everything he had planned on doing. His entire staff were amazing as well. Post surgery, he was instrumental in explaining the outcome of the surgery, what he noticed, checking in few days, a week, and other appointment times! He is caring, very knowledgeable, and patient doctor! Absolutely the best doctor I have ever had.

Dr. Fasihi is an excellent surgeon who replaced my right shoulder in March 2019. After the 6-week “quiet period”, i.e. shoulder in sling, I was able to resume driving, started PT, resumed my workout routines (at home and in gym), and started to swim laps again. My range of motion improved daily to 100% by now and I can do everything I did before. I had developed pain and swelling in that shoulder in summer 2016. I saw several health care providers with zero results! Only after I found Dr. Fasihi in June 2018 did I get help; he listened to me and cared enough to get to the bottom of my pain. He ordered a new X-Ray that revealed bone on bone arthritis and an MRI that showed the site of the sac filled with fluid. While draining the fluid helped I eventually reached the point where shoulder replacement was the only option left. My surgery went off flawlessly! If you are looking for a great surgeon, a great recovery, and a person who listens and cares, Dr. Fasihi is your doctor.

Without a doubt the best medical attention I have ever received. He helped me with a ACL reconstruction and along with other complications and I'm back on my feet and feeling great. I never felt rushed out of his office but he also never belabors a point when he's explaining things. He makes aspects of the surgery and the recovery very easy-going and relaxed even though I was pretty nervous. He also puts things in layman terms that I could easily understand. He's very professional too.

I saw Dr. Fasihi in the Tysons Corner Kaiser Permanente. He repaired my ACL and meniscus in my left knee successfully. He did a great job throughout the course of the procedure from the diagnosis to all the way to post surgery procedure. It's been about 9 months since the surgery and I feel like I am really close to 100%.

I recently visited this surgeon for a Elbow fracture. He scared me about my situation on the very first day (saying I need to have prosthetic in my elbow instead of reassuring me that him or his team will take of me) based on x-ray done at the Kaiser urgent care. Surgeons should not use moral hazard when advising patient at the very first stage of any injury. He advised me that I will have early arthritis and other issues if I don't do the surgery, which deeply affected my decision making.
