At first he was attentive, knowledgeable and positive, now he's hurried, harried and did not read my lab results correctly and diagnosed me as having a severe osteoporosis and prescribed medication that made me very ill. Only when going to another doctor who looked at the test results did I learn that my bone density reading was not a -4 but a + 4! This meant my bones were like those of a 30 year old woman; I think he grew careless due to my age and didn't read the results carefully and I suffered. When I alerted his office nurse who said she would inform him of this, I found he left the original incorrect diagnosis in my records which were transferred to another doctor. In the past it was "forgotten" that he had ordered lab work and became angry when I asked for the results which were important and indicated I had an infection. He did say: "Oh, I read an older test result that was negative" and blew it off. Bladder infections at my age can become very serious quickly. I left.
