Exceeded all my expectations!
As an anesthesia provider, I see how over worked these doctors are and how busy their schedules can become with a lot of emergency add ons. Even when she is behind schedule, she is very thorough with her GI exams. She always takes the time to make sure she doesn’t miss anything. Out of all the GI docs I work with, I chose her as my doctor because I have the utmost confidence that she will do a great job! There are other medical professionals that choose her as well. She genuinely cares about every patient! After reading some of the other reviews, I understand everyone has a different experience but she has nothing to do with the billing, or can’t help that she may be behind because she had to take care of a sicker patient that took longer, which I know she would do if that were me, my family or anyone and you have to wait longer. I have seen her interact with numerous patients and she has always been very professional! I will continue to have Dr Vallaru take care of all of my GI needs.

Does not respond
This doctor doesn’t respond to messages and does not explain prescriptions or return phone calls. Worst experience ever. Will never see her again.

I will never recommend her to anyone. She prescribed pills that was contrary to the medication I was on. She told me she dislikes me and never wanted my case. She only did the procedure for her colleagues. After the procedure was done at mercy. She called me to tell me if the symptoms get worse got to UC ER. I belong at dignity health. She yelled at me and had me setup to have Thoracic as well at UC Davis! When I have a Thoracic Surgeon at dignity health. It was awful. She’s has emotional issues. I am recognized by the CDC, American Medical Association. And I have reported her the American Medical Association. Due to the medication she gave me caused me to have an opiate overdose.

Very disappointed with the lack of honesty. Before the procedure everything was planned in a way it was very convenient for my wife. After the procedure we received huge charges that were not expected. When trying to clarify the situation with Dr. Valluru, we were not able to talk with her. She just care about how much money she can get. She is not professional.

My first visit was to establish myself as a new patient. Dr. Valleru is NOT a hands-on doctor. I expected at least a minimal of abdominal contact, like my other gastroenterologist always did, to determine a baseline for future appointments. I never had the chance for a 2nd visit because Dr. Valleru's staff called me to reschedule . And then 3 months later, called to reschedule the appointment AGAIN. They once again wanted to schedule me for an appointment 3 months in the future. I have heard from her other patients that this rescheduling is quite common for Dr. Valleru. So, I told the appointment maker that I would be seeking the services of another Gastroenterologist from another healthcare provider since Dr. Valleru apparently doesn't care enough about her patients to keep her appointments. My wife and her close friend also are not thrilled with Dr. Valleru, due to her propensity for rescheduling. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR.
