By far the best doctor I've ever had
The best doctor I've ever had in my 50 years of life. Personable, funny, always smiling and very knowledgeable. Answered any and all questions I ever had for him in the over 6 years I had him as my PCP. The office and nursing staff are incredible, and I never had any issue with meds, visits, wait times, referrals, procedures, or anything else. If you want the kind of doctor that knows what they're talking about, genuinely cares about you and your problems, and you would also want to hang out with at a BBQ, Dr. Sankar is it.

V-Tone Experience
My personal experience with V-Tone is excellent. I would recommend this procedure to anyone, even the elderly. The staff really makes it easy and comfortable. I find it saves me a lot of money in the long run because i am not going through so many incontinence products. Thank you Dr. Sankar and staff for helping me.

Dr Sankar caring, knowable & experienced
My wife and I have been patients since 2015 of Dr Sankar. Dr. Sankar s willingness to listen and explore treatments for my condition has improved my quality of life. Aging and having walking problems due to unusual circumstances has been difficult for me. If we need a specialist Dr Sankar and team recommends excellent Doctors. Now with telemedicine as snowbirds Dr Sankar is able to care for us. Sometimes a wait but because he doesn’t rush visits. As a retired healthcare professional I recommend Dr. Sankar.

Dr. SANKAR CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS
Dr Sankar has been my doctor for about 7 years. He is extremely competent, caring, and he answers questions with brutal honesty. I value that. When your health is the topic, you need someone to help you understand. On the even better side, he has also made me look 10 years younger with the RF treatments he is now offering. Seriously effective and the process has no down time. Its life changing to look in the mirror and be happy.

Incredible doctor. Listens to concerns and explains everything to patients, making sure he’s understood. Staff are usually great, Crystal has been a wonderful addition, so kind! Wait times can be long depending on your appointment time but definitely worth the wait, just budget about 1.5hrs.

Dr. Sankar seems to be a competent physician and I have found Brenna (the usual front desk person) to be very pleasant to deal with. That being said, her mother sometimes takes over desk duty and she is a horror to work with. Concerning having to schedule an appointment in order to have prescriptions refilled, sad but true, Dr. Sankar is all about the money. I do understand that he is in a business and should be paid for his services but it is very apparent that getting paid supersedes the patient's needs.

Worst doctor I've ever seen as far as professionalism. He can be very immature, but mainly his ego really gets in the way. Not conducive to a good patient-doctor relationship. Wait time in the lobby is usually 1 to 1-1/2 hrs.! I stopped seeing him and found a professional doctor with great people skills and normal wait times.

Dr Sankar is an outstanding Dr. He is a great listener and takes his time with your office visit. It is VERY apparent that he is dedicated with his practice and he has a successful one because of this. Dr Sankar keeps his beloved dog in the lobby to greet people. If man can be judged by his dogs personality and loyalty.......well you know the rest. We love you Dr Sankar!

First time I ever met him under my plan was in Nov. and it was to establish me being a patient of his. I found all his staff, caring, personable, professional, and courteous at all times to everyone that came in the door. He had already reviewed all my MRI's and reports from YRMC by the time he came into the exam room, sat with me and allowed me to ask any questions of concern I might have. After the visit he wanted to assure me he was going to get me well.

I found Dr Sankar to be quite personable, but his office procedures and concern for his patients is very lacking. Will leave you in a waiting room for over an hour past your appointment time. Really doesn't care because he continues to accept new patients.

I usually wait around 1 1/2 hours to see the doctor for 5 or 10 minutes. He did not know or ask about my medical history. I recently fell breaking my left arm and dislocating the left shoulder. Right after it happened I needed to see him, but his office without notice was closed for a week. Now he has discharged me because I needed a high blood pressure refill which I asked him to refill by phone since I am still unable to drive, still have a long way to go to recover from my arm injury.

Having a simple question for the Dr., I called & spoke to someone. She said she'd get back to me the next day. Over the next week, I called several times from my cell phone, going to voice mail each time. I called from my home phone & it was answered immediately, implying she was screening my calls! She said the doctor is sick & they'll get back to me when they can. She pointed out she got my 3 msgs (I actually left only 1 msg) I received no call back. Sankar ignored the issue when explained.

My wife & I made routine check-up appts. (no cost to us). We arrived, on time, but had to wait over an hour. They didn't code the visits as routine, so both of us were charged. My wife's visit was never billed to our ins. co., so they billed us directly...NOT ALLOWED! Dr. Sankar also ignored a letter I sent. When I called, the person I dealt with was rude. Dr. Sankar won't give you lab results unless you come back to see him. They keep sending a bill to my wife. Ins. co. told us do NOT pay it.

My husband and I just switched to Dr. Sankar because our dr. that we have been seeing for 17 years has retired. The office is not fancy like the previous doctor's was but that's ok. We found the staff to be quite pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Dr. Sankar himself is a very friendly and knowledgeable man. I feel comfortable around him and he is easy to talk to. We would highly recommend Dr. Sankar to anyone seeking quality health care. We plan to stick with him for a long time!
