Dr. Hibino performed two surgeries for my son who was born with a complex congenital heart defect. Aside from being extremely competent, he was kind and attentive. It was clear he cared for our son and we still keep in touch with him about our son.

Dr. Naru is a wonderful addition to Advocate Children's Heart Institute. Dr. Naru Hibino performed our three year old son's third open-heart surgery alongside Dr. Luca Vricella. Our son was born with a single ventricle and other heart defects including L-TGA, VSD, and COA. Although our son's Fontan surgery was complicated by his very narrow aorta, we felt at ease knowing that our son was in the best hands. Not only is he a very skilled surgeon, but he is also a very compassionate human being. He takes his time to make sure that families feel comfortable handing off their little ones to the operating room and constantly checks-in with his patients post surgery. We are very grateful for Dr. Naru and his team for taking care of our son and for treating us like family.
