Addressed my concerns

I had to wait an hour and half to be seen. I spent 20 minutes at home responding to a request to update my records on the patient portal only to find that NONE of my medication updates had occurred. I absolutely LOVE Dr Gaines. I feel she is very knowledgeable, she is kind- I just don’t have access to her when I need it. I have serious bladder issues, but when I have problems between my routine check ins, I can’t get into her at all. If I call the nurse line with my issue and they message Dr Gaines- The advise is to keep my appointment ( which is usually 2 or more months in the future). My primary care Dr is frustrated because she has done all she knows and has referred me to Dr Gaines, but again, no appointments available. In my appointment today Dr Gaines changed my antibiotics that primary care had prescribed because of several medical reasons. What good is it to have a specialist that you don’t have access to?
