Good hands dealing with my eye issues
I found Dr Lopasic concerned with my visual health issues. She did not waste time my time nor her’s. Answered my questions as we discussed future plans. I have a 6 month appointment when we may schedule the eye muscle procedure. In the meantime, I have an appointment with my regular specialist. We will be able to gather more information. I feel I’m in good hands.

Absolutely highly recommend.
Excellent. I had cataract surgery and Dr. Lopasic and staff were excellent from checking in to leaving. Total confidence in Dr. Lopasic and we are fortunate to have a doctor like this in the Capital District area.

Left feeling ignored and unheard
I’m losing my vision in both eyes and the reason is unknown. I waited for quite a while but so don’t mind because offices are busy and it’s ok. Once I saw Natalie she quickly rushed into the room and asked me what was happening. I explained everything to her and she told me that I’m worrying too much and that I’m going to drive myself crazy. She said I had a virus in my eye and that the damage was done but would not get any worse. Then she scheduled me for an appointment in 6 months and left the room. I felt like a fool. I was so embarrassed that she made me feel like this was all made up in my mind. Thankful the one thing she did right was to get me to a wonderful retina Dr who found alarming spots in both eyes. She said,”You aren’t going crazy. There is definitely something happening here and it’s alarming. I’m now working with the other Dr and won’t set foot back into Lopaisic’s office again. The bad reviews are all correct.

They all have been great experiences. Dr. Lopasic takes the time to inform me of every test that I have had and the findings relative to my health. The Doctor was very thorough with expectations and recovery following my eyelid surgery. I actually look forward to my next visit knowing that I am in good hands.

Had a very bad experience with her.
After being tested by her staff, she entered the room and said I had 3 issues with my eyes. She thought my eyesight could be saved and left the room. She did it explain anything. Will never go back to her. Very cold, and business like.

09/15/2021: I am not a fan of doctor visits of any kind... but I know they are necessary and so make the best of them. Between my wife and I we have seen Lopasic numerous times... she is our regular vision doctor now after being with someone else for decades. I won't go into details as to why we switched to her... things happen. Without going into more details, on me she has taken care of eyelids and cataracts on both eyes and exams, help and treatments for my wife who suffered a peripheral vision loss. We are both pleased with how we've been taken care of by Lopasic and the techs that work there. I do recommend her to folks that ask who I see for vision care. And I actually see her tomorrow for a routine check-up. * * * * *

I came to dr Lopasic for a relatively serious issue, which no other doctor could diagnose. She took the time to explain the diagnosis to me and my family, with genuine empathy. I am forever grateful to her and her staff.

Dr Lopasic was recommended by a friend and I'm glad she was. She listened to my concerns and went over all my results. She helped me with glasses that corrected my double vision.

I recently had surgery done to repair a droopy left eyelid. I was surprised to see how many patients were in the treatment area at the same time. 15 people either in exam rooms or waiting for the next exam room. As I was prepped for surgery Dr Lopasic said she was doing both eyelids. I told her only one was approved by insurance. She had to call her office for clarification. Only one eyelid approved. The surgery was not successful and my droopy eyelid was actually worse. A second operation was done, with another co-pay by the way. My droopy eyelid was brought back to its original condition. I had a follow up appointment but because of the significant swelling and redness was scheduled for a second follow up. For 2 month I had a continuous eye irritation. Eventually I found a suture attached to the inside my eyelid which I removed. I don't know if Dr. Lopasic reads reviews, but I hope she does and takes away that factory procedures in the medical profession is not good patient care.

I saw Dr. Laposic for the first time today and will not be going back. She spoke down to me and really only spoke to her scribe in terms that I did not understand. She wanted to see me back in a month but this will not happen. For the money you pay to see a doctor you should be treated with respect and have things explained to you. Wouldn't recommend.

I made an appt with Dr Lopasic last spring for my almost 9 year old. She had failed the vision screening the school nurse gives and we needed to have her eyes checked. I checked our insurance and Dr Lopasic was listed as a participating provider. When I called I simply stated I wanted a regular eye exam (which is covered in full by our insurance). The appointment itself was very long. They were very behind. We first saw a tech who gave a quick vision test and stated my daughter probably needed glasses. Then we had to wait in the hall to see the actual doctor. We had already been there for about 45 minutes at this point. We waited another 30 minutes or so in the hallway. Finally we were called back to the exam room with the dr. Her bedside manner was terrible. She rattled off a bunch of numbers to the tech/nurse who was with her. Then finally looked at me and said "she doesn't really need glasses but could get them if you want". She was so indecisive with my daughter needing glasses a

I was frankly appalled at the way my 98 yo mom was treated by Dr Laposic and this practice. Instead of assessing her capacity and needs, they put her through a series of tests which she couldn’t complete bc she was unable to reach the bar of the various machines from her wheelchair. The appointment took nearly 2 hours, the bulk of which was waiting for these tests she couldn’t complete and for an exam room. Once the Dr came in, she didn’t speak to my mom. She barked out numbers and orders to her assistant. She never once asked my mom or me how she was or if she had concerns. It was as if my mom wasn’t there. I’ve seem a lot of poor medical care in my 63 years but this was just about the worst. In addition, the practice itself is chaotic with appointment times nearing 2 hours, just unacceptable all the way around.
