NASTY PERSON
I CANNOT STAND HER! SHE WOULD TELL ME HOW STUPID I WAS, AND I NEEDED MENTAL HEALTH HELP, SHE WOULD NEVER TREAT ME WITH RESPECT! SHE WAS ALWAYS TELLING ME I WAS STUPID. I RECEIVED SHOTS FROM HER THAT DID NO GOOD AT ALL. WINTERS WAS ALWAYS TELLING ME I WAS A LIAR, AND COULD NOT HAVE THE PAIN I WAS CLAIMING. I TRIED TO TALK TO HER BUT IT IS SO HARD TO COMMUNICATE WITH A DOCTOR WHO DOES NOT LISTEN! I CANNOT FORGET TO MENTION ALL THE MONEY SHE WAS PAID FOR HER VISITS. COPAYS. I HAD TO SIT AND LISTEN TO A PERSON WHO WAS ALWAYS TALKING DOWN TO ME. I WOULD NEVER USE HER AGAIN, AND WOULD TURN DOWN REFERRALS TO SEE HER. I THINK I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN BETTER TREATMENT FROM A STRANGER OFF THE STREET. YOUR SPITEFULL. YOUR MEAN.

Very professional and knowledgeable
I recently took my 84 year-old mother to visit Dr. Winters and upon arrival found her to be very thorough and detailed in her explanation of the pain caused in my mother‘s spine from neuropathy (due to scoliosis and shingles). I appreciate how she used a skeletal spine to demonstrate and explain to my mother where the pain was coming from. She also took the time to research her medical history and made an assessment of how to further treat my mother’s neuropathy. She was flexible with scheduling the time for a procedure and worked my mother in very quickly for an epidural in what is obviously a very busy schedule. We enjoyed her demeanor and found her to be quite poised, confident and professional. My daughter is also a highly regarded pain management specialist and agreed with Dr. Winters’ approach and her assessment of further treatment options for my mother. A great experience!

Over last few years I must admit the over all care has been a 5 star. That does not mean every visit was great but over all after getting acquainted with staff they have been great. Dr Winter and Shannon both please remember us pain patients are not always easy to deal with so give it time and work together. It's your responsibility as well to make your life better ....

I've suffered from chronic pain 15 plus years and during that time I lived in Alabama, Oklahoma and now back in Wyoming. During these last 7 years I've seen all kinds of pain specialist some were pill pushers and some really cared about patients .Dr Natalie Winter not only cares she is also a very exceptional Pain Doctor and one of the best I've ever had. If your looking for someone that wants to improve your quality life shes the one. If you just want meds well sorry but pill pushers dont help in your overall health and Dr Winter is there to help not just write scripts

Dr. Winter is a rock star! She explains everything clearly, and walks you through the whole procedure. I have endured decades of spinal pain, and Dr Winter is the first doctor to actually resolve many of my issues.

I've always had great visits with Dr. Winter. She always asks questions and always tells me to take my time and explain my thoughts or concerns of things that are happening. She is always more than willing to answer all of my questions. I have had some treatments that were less than pleasant treatments but is always up front and explains how things will feel during and after. Highly recommend her if you're having severe pain.

I saw Dr. Winter's nurse practitioner, Shannon. If you have ongoing chronic pain, don't even bother seeing this woman. For some reason, most pain clinics refuse to treat the chronically ill. So who are we to see? I have no idea. With all of the new CDC guidelines, we are being forced to live in disabling pain. A very sad way to live, especially when it is totally unnecessary.

I saw Dr. Winter in 2015 for 2 cortisone shots, and again in 2017 for another 2. My experience in 2015 was very positive, and the shots worked well. She seemed more patient and less busy than in 2017, because that experience was not very positive at all. She seemed to be trying to do her best, but also seemed way too busy. Couldn't find anything wrong with my MRI even though I needed a discectomy... Her PA Shannon Treptow didn't fill me with confidence either.

I'm sadly unable to leave a negative rating for this hortible physician. If you're looking for a doctor to make you feel insignificant and stupid - she's the one! This doctor has little regard for your thoughts and opinions. I had an awful experience with her in which upon our first interaction she berated me regarding the care of my previous physician and scolded me for decisions I had made regarding my on-going pain management issues. WELL WORTH the more than hour drive to ANYONE else.

Disappointed in Cheyenne, WY – Apr 05, 2016
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Winter?
Dr. Winter does not listen to her patients and in fact becomes visibly and audibly irritated when a patient does not agree with an opinion she has. Coupled with a rather arrogant and condescending bedside manner, she was very intimidating. Rather than turn some concerns and personal involvement in one's own healthcare into an argument, we simply left and sought another provider immediately.
