Great Gastroenterologist
I've been seeing Dr. Belova for years and my mom & dad had her as their Gastroenterologist. I realized over the years she's not one to coddle anyone. Her schedule & waiting room are always full and I notice she remains on task to be able to give every patient what they need. If you're looking for a leisurely conversation during your appointment you probably won't get that. However you will get the benefit of a well trained doctor who will focus on your medical needs. I took my anxious college-age daughter to see her about 5 or so years ago, and Dr. Belova made her feel comfortable and heard. With three generations of our family seeing Dr. Belova, I feel confident that we are being well-cared for by a dedicated medical professional. If she sometimes seems rushed, I get it and don't see it as a slight. Maybe that's my Eastern European background that understands that different cultures have different norms so in this case I choose the doctor focusing on the medical issue at hand.

Dr Belova was my house Dr during a hospital stay and has now been my gastro for 4 years seeing me through finding my diagnosis, sending me to a specialist when needed , a colonoscopy and endoscopy. There’s a slight difficulty understanding her accent with my hearing issues, but that does not affect her knowledge.

Agree with other reviewers who said she was very rude. Her staff was, too. Having worked in medical settings with many docs for years, I was stunned. I won't go back to her for the diagnostic work, as she lacks compassion and doesn't care to listen to patients. Only interested in deciding what tests to run and getting on to the next patient.

Dr. Belova was so extremely rude the second my appointment started. She did not take my symptoms seriously, rolled her eyes and scoffed at some of the things I said and snapped at me for using my phone (not allowed apparently). It sucks because it takes forever to even see a specialist and then when I do the experience is an awful one. The worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. Surprised she has any good reviews with the way she treated me.

Scared Patient – Oct 23, 2019

Dr. Belova is terrific. She's clearly well trained and skilled. Her advice is sound. She is also especially kind and ever cheerful. Given her speciality, that's an unexpected combination. I bless my good fortune in finding Dr. Belova. I went to her carrying fear and dread based on a scary ,family history. She has left well cared for and confident. God bless her.

Dr. Belova is terrific, she takes the time to listen to her patients, makes very good suggestions for treatment and is very good at testing. She has performed both an endoscopy and colonoscopy for me with ease and no issues.
