ER appointment
My husband drove me to the ER. I was having uncontrollable chills, fever, weakness, vomiting, stomach pain and headache. The ER nurse, Marsha was very helpful. They ran some labs and the chills had subsided. After waiting for over an hour, Dr. Hancock came in. He said they were going to prescribe nausea meds. I asked him directly what was wrong with me. He ignored my question and walked out of the room! Terrible bedside manner. No communication. He should not be practicing or take some traing in emotional intelligence. Disrespectful and aloof.

Dr came in with food all over his shirt and acted like I was interrupting him being there. I knew I was having gal bladder issues and he told me it was just indigestion. ER cost was outrageous for him to tell me I just needed Prilosec. He does not know what he is doing, he does not listen to the patient. He just wanted to get back to his lunch. I had gal bladder attacks for 6 more months and was in so much pain but refused to go back to the hospital in fear of having to see him again and pay for him to tell me it wasn’t my gal bladder again. He should not be practicing medicine. The hospital really needs to know what he is doing to patients.

Poor excuse of a doctor. Waste of money. Has tests run that are expensive and not valid for symptoms. Will not being going back to Madison Memorial again.

Treated my broken clavicle like a runny nose. Worst bedside manner I've had. Finding a different orthopedist to follow up with. Not wasting my money or time with him.

We've met with a lot of different doctors, and I can honestly say Dr. Hancock is my least favorite. His bedside manner is terrible. Didn't explain anything to us and ran unnecessary scans. If my wife want in so much pain we would have driven to EIRMC 30 minutes away rather than see Dr. Hancock.

His Medical Knowledge and experience is sufficient. However he is dishonest. In his Dr's notes he was dishonest in stating what information had passed between Dr and Patient causing insurance to deny a claim. His bedside manner isnt very good either. He presents as arrogant and self righteous.
