Extremely knowledgeable and professional!!
I have been Dr Harrison's patient for over 6 years and he is the only one that has been able help me with my severe chronic back and leg pain. I went from daily pain levels of a 10 to some days I'm virtually pain free. I like that he is a conservative pain management doctor. He surrounds himself with extremely competent staff that is friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They respond very quickly if I have questions. I have referred many family and friends to him in the past and will continue to do so! I highly recommend Dr Harrison, especially if you have chronic pain.

Expecting anesthesia
It wasn’t until I was in the OR that he told me I would be receiving no anesthesia for a cervical rhizotomy claiming unnecessary expense for the anesthesia. After I found another pain specialist and she did give me propofol during my procedure she commented that having no anesthesia is cruel and unusual punishment. I had additional procedures with the new doctor who was transparent with all aspects of the procedures.

Spare yourself and find a professional doctor
Apparently there's a theme with this doctor, and it's not good. As other reviews have written, he's always late, always unprofessional, always has poor communication skills, and shouldn't be in a position in which other humans have to engage with him, not the least of which being patients, who are paying for and need his services.

Uncaring, Unprofessional & Uncommunicative
Uncaring, Unprofessional, Uncommunicative and he'll be late to his own funeral. Nathan makes sure you know whose time is more value. Hint: It's not yours!

Not trustworthy
I went in for a simple neck block pain treatment and requested No Anesthesia. No one bothered the share this info on their team and I was given Anesthesia. After complaining to this DR, he assured me that the staff would be retrained and that I would not be responsible for the bill. However I did get a bill and have been arguing it for over a year. This DR and his nurses have repeatedly told me it would be taken care of and has failed to do so. Today, a collection company contacted me. Don't do business with this person.

Dr H is VERY thorough & EXTREMELY knowledgeable!
I had lots of questions for Dr H about my MRI results, He patiently listened and answered every single one. Then, went on to explain, in detail, my options and the best ways for me to move forward. He is kind and always greets me with a smile! I leave his appts knowing that he is doing everything possible to help me and I find it so satisfying! Dr H is an AWESOME person and a WONDERFUL doctor! BTW, I recommended Dr H to my parents and they are now BOTH his patient’s!!!

Dr. Harrison made an assumption without any proof that I was an addict and needed treatment for substance abuse in relation to pain medicine. What is interesting is I am seeing several other physicians that are aware of my medical history and what medications I take and never had an issue; but this doctor who clearly misunderstood the information I PROVIDED to him regarding what several other specialists had stated and tried to manipulate my medical history for whatever reason that he has. The best part is this wasn’t done in person; it was done via the MyChart app on Friday at 530pm so I could not even call him to discuss the libelous and false accusations regarding my medical issues. There is absolutely nothing in my past or current medical charts that would point to drug seeking, addictive or abusive issues with medicine. And then to tell me that the alternative methods for pain relief (injections) and follow up appointments are cancelled until I get treatment for addiction.

Love love this doctor. I'm an RN and can say that he is very knowledgeable & compassionate. He is not one to prescribe meds quickly nor to do a procedure that may not be necessary. He will fully evaluate each patient and discuss treatment options with the patient's goals in mind. I highly recommend Dr. Harrison.

I just love this doctor. I have been to many pain doctors because I have moved around. He and his staff are my favorite! I have had very good results from his injections. He answers all questions and explains everything concerning the problem.Chris his assistant is also very knowledgeable about every situation I have needed explanation of. I drive two hours one way to see him. I have nothing but good to say about him and his whole staff.
