Above and Beyond Compassionate Surgeon
My 94 year old Grandma (we call her Wonder Woman) underwent an urgent hip replacement performed by Dr Nicholson. As soon as Grandma met with him she felt at ease and trusted his abilities. Surgery was a success and she was up and walking with assistance the very next day. It is evident that he truly CARES for his patients. He LISTENS to his patients and their family to understand what the patient was like before the injury and focuses on giving them the best chance to return to their pre injury status. He doesnt just see the age and the injury but sees the person. He ADVOCATES for his patients. He treats the whole person, not just the condition. He truly has his patients best interests at heart. His bedside manner is what all surgeons should strive to duplicate. Pella Regional Health Center is truly blessed to have Dr. Nicholson on staff.

He did surgery on my knee cap in 2019 and I need surgery on my broken bones in my right leg.. I would recommend him as a surgeon to anyone that needs a surgery for broken bones.
