Dr. Nathan Wass, DO

I had a much better second visit with Dr Wass. Did not simply write off my issues. Made logical steps in testing and labs. I have an understanding of my medical issue.

I would recommend finding another doctor. Dr. Wass didn't address my request for a referral. I called many times and he never called back. Nor anyone from his staff. Cancelled 2 appointments with me. Then I received a letter stating he was leaving the practice on the 16th. Letter came on the 10th. Thanks for the heads up, because you know its easy to find a new doc! So now I have a new patient appt in Sept. And I'm without a medical provider. I will not go back to that office. Beware this dr!

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Wass because I wasn't happy with my previous PCP and hadn't had one for years. He listened to the things I felt were most emergent and began to address them with testing and medication. I'm pretty cautious about medications, and he answered all my questions, spent time going over things so I would understand them, and gave me options.

Was very arrogant, and couldn't be bothered to give me a referral for a second opinion because he didn't think I needed one. Now his office has scheduled me an appointment with a dermatologist out of the blue that charges $20 for no shows/no cancels when I haven't visited his office in over 2 years. The derm office said they sent my paperwork over for the appointment less than a month ago! Very disorganized, or outright malicious? Either way - Would. Not. Recommend.

Dr Wass takes his time and talks to you to discover things you may not seem important. He is very easy to talk to. You can tell he is thinking over all the possibilities. He can explain things and give references that help to understand. I just hope he sticks around for a long time!.
