I had originally scheduled my appointment at 2pm but their office called and wanted to reschedule for 9:45 but we settled on 12:00. I arrived five minutes early and filled out my paperwork with two patients in front of me. An hour and fifteen minutes later I was called back to an exam room. I waited another 45 minutes for the doctor to come in. So I have been waiting for two hours at this point. Dr. Kho came in and performed an overall nuro evaluation which took about 20 minutes but didn’t communicate what he had found other than I needed an EMG even though I had already scheduled one for that day when I scheduled the evaluation. He said nothing about all the other test he performed over a twenty minute period. He showed no interest in listening to my concerns or even my answers to his questions. He has no bed side manner and does not seem interested in what you have to say even when answering his questions. If I could give him zero stars I would.

If I could give a zero I would
If you want to actually be treated for your condition than stay away. This doctor did a thorough exam but gave absolutely no help whatsoever. He was dismissive, acted like my problem wasnt an issue that he could help with and basically referred me to other doctors because he wasnt going to be able to help me. You can tell when a Dr just doesnt want to try and that was Dr Kho; at least in my case. I dont care how intelligent this Dr may be, if you arent even willing to try and help a patient than why are you a Dr?? Referring a patient to more Drs when they are there for migraines is kind of pointless when you are a NEUROLOGIST. Yes, a patient may need othe Drs involved but clearly a Neurologist can help with migraine management. You should be the expert here... clearly not. Its not appropriate to have a patient just leave your office with no proper care.

Dr. Kho began to see me 4-1/2 years ago. Barely walking and in a lot of pain he correctly diagnosed, and treated me for multiple neurologic conditions. I had bone, back & joint pain. He referred me to the UT Medical Center Pain Clinic under Dr. Gill and Dr. Amy Phelan. Needless to say, the pain management as well as Dr. Kho's continued followup care has allowed me to return to work full time as a managing consultant for 2 companies, handling Quick Books and Quicken. I am 72 years old.

Super rude and unorganized staff. This doctor loves to "fluff" the bill with unnecessary tests and exams. I am not letting this doctor and his staff make any sort of recommendations about a concussion i have had. You deserve better as a patient, if you are referred to Kho, HANG UP THE PHONE and NEVER LOOK BACK!

Rude staff very unorganized. After I refused to move forward because of everything from the time I made first contact to leaving very rude very organized I am not going to let this guy make decisions about a concussion I have had. It was like a circus. Because they didn't get that I was going someplace else I kept getting calls for test that needed to be done for weeks. Even when I called back that day and the next to tell them I won't be back. UNORGANIZED & waste of time stay away.

If you are contemplating or have an appointment with Dr. Kho, run as fast as you can to another doctor. He is unavailable, his staff is rude and he changes his mind regarding treatment plans. It took me 2 weeks to get an answer from him or his nurse. Truly---find another doctor even if you have to wait longer. You won't regret declining to see Dr. Kho.
