I had my heart procedure in April. I felt rushed and was told that I needed to have my operation right away. Later, just before I was supposed to go into the surgery, I was told that I couldn't have it done that I'd have to wait until tomorrow! How come my EMERGENT procedure needed to wait another day! I ended up having it on SATURDAY and felt like I should have just cancelled it myself. I had a rough time recovering and my wounds still aren;t fully healed. I tried to voice my concerns to the Dr. but I mostly just saw his nurses. Believe me Im not a KAREN, but my family was very upset. Definately AVOID at all costs

I have severe white coat syndrome! I found out I had to have heart surgery pretty urgently and I was terrified. Dr. Jahangir and his staff were amazing with me and my severe anxiety. I am thankful that he was my surgeon, everything went well, and I am healing very quickly.

Great Dr. Knows how to come you down before a major surgery. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a bypass surgery. I like to thank him for what he did for me.

Dr. Jahangir performed open heart surgery on me in December 2021. I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve that had to be replaced. In addition to the valve issue, I had an aortic aneurysm caused by the valve that needed to be repaired, and a partial blockage of my widow maker that needed to be bypassed. My cardiologists had been monitoring the valve for many years, and it finally got to the point that it had to be replaced. I asked my primary care for recommendations for a surgeon. Dr. Jahangir was one of three he recommended. My cardiologist also recommended him. It was difficult to get an appointment with him because he is in high demand, but worth the wait. Dr. Jahangir was very caring, and took the time to explain what needed to be done. He performed my surgery. He did a great job. No complications. The nurses in ICU told me he was the best, and I was lucky to have him do my surgery. I was out of the hospital in a few days. His office staff and assistants were all very nice and accommodating. If you need heart surgery I highly recommend Dr. Jahangir.

I have not seen the Dr yet. I had a 12pm appt and at 12:45 I called and office is at lunch from 12 to 1. I called back at 1:10 and was told my appt would be 3pm after questioning the time, it got moved to 3:30. Next appt was 41 days later. First impressions are lasting impressions. This was not my pick; it was the heart surgeons backup.

when I came to the Summerlin Hospital and met Dr. Jahangir, I was very impressed, he doesn't tell you stories, he tells you the truth and the truth only. Like I was asking him, when I said how you restart my heart, his answer was I chump started, what he has done for me, I think nobody could to better, he saved my life, I called him not a doctor, he is a genies ( doctor ). He saved my brother's life. I am forever grateful for Dr. Jahangir. We didn't get to pick his surgeon as this was an emergency situation. Dr. Jahangir met the family and described in detail what he was going to do. He spent extra time than mentioned in surgery being very meticulous. He told us my brother was lucky to be alive and I say my brother is alive because of you!

I recently had heart surgery by Dr Jahangir. He's professional, kind personable and his skills are superior. A brilliant surgeon with impeccable credentials. I'm so grateful to Dr Jahangir and the incredible medical team he surrounds himself with.

Dr. Jahangir performed a triple bypass on me in November 2012. I wasn't given that long to live due to the damage to my heart before the surgery. I'm still ticking almost 7 yrs. later. Him and I had a rocky road, however he is a great surgeon!! True story, I was in recovery for 2 weeks, passed two times, forgot how to eat and drink. He brought me back and in 2 days of awakening, personal matters forced me to recover on my own and Dr. Jahangir told me to never come back. It was a good thing!!

Dr Jahangir,has really saved my life. I had a triple bypass surgery on 03/22/2017. On the first evening when I saw him, I had no idea whatsoever as to what was going to happen to me, but after the surgery he went to my family and told them that everything went well. Being on a wheelchair they thought that I wouldn’t be able to make it, but i did. God bless him and I pray that every surgery he does becomes a success. Thanks a million doctor who has given me a second life.

He is the best surgeon. He has performed heart surgery on two of our family member and we couldn't be happier with the results. His confidence and knowledge has left us in awe. God bless him.
