Do not recommend seek another doctor do your due d
awful I called for the appointment she didn't want to listen to anything I had to say she was the aggressive one in the in the telehealth visit that should have been in office as I requested but she wants to make money from home and Bill us $253 for it she said she didn't want to see me anymore she didn't make any recommendations she's awful she's labeler she puts things in your file that are untrue and only based on what she had in a conversation with you for 15 minutes told her I had four drinks at a slumber party and she labeled me abusive alcohol I don't drink I don't do drugs yet that's what she labels me she has no idea who I am at all. She doesn't care you're going to be just a paycheck to her for 15 minutes let's see 15 * 4 at $250 that's $1,000 an hour she's making and she's horrible I turned her into the state of Rhode Island and with my health insurance company

Impatient, demeaning, rushed and terminated my care suddenly with a letter without further referrals.

Today, I had the most horrific experience of my life with someone who calls herself a mental health provider. I am in a state of trauma and am going through the stages of grief and yes today was anger. Instead of being empathetic and validating my obvious state of distress and offering ways to support me, she kept saying things that agitated me even more. She hung up on me as I was in a state of distress. She did not help me get back to a state of calm. She deserted her patient in a time of crisis. It is a real good thing I am not suicidal because that interaction could have pushed me over the edge. She obviously does not have the skill set needed for her profession. I am sharing this in the hopes of saving others from having the same experience. She failed me as a mental health professional in my time of need. I would not recommend her to anyone. I am still in utter disbelief.

Horrific Experience – Nov 13, 2020

I am not sure why I stayed with this specialist for as long as I did. She didn't check blood levels, or she would have realized that I was deficient in Vitamins B and D; these have major impacts on a person's mood (who knew?). She would interrupt me mid-sentence to schedule my next appointment, as if she couldn't wait to get rid of me. She clearly disliked me, so I wish that she had suggested I find someone new a long time ago, and avoided wasting both our time.

Rigid in general but well-schooled physician. Always by the book. Won't tweak meds via the phone or email even when you've been working w/her a long time. You always have to come to her office. Excellent office staff. Ruth is a charming person.
