I was shocked to receive the low level of treatment at VCU. My appt had been changed and I was not notified. It was rescheduled for 3weeks later. Then I meet Dr.Amin. she walked in the room asked me" "why are you here". I was taken aback by her choice of words but thought , she's getting right to the point, can't get in my feelings for that. So as I tried to explain my trigger finger and I was referred by another Dr. She asked to see my hand never touching them. 2 seconds later she stated I needed surgery. I was speechless, confused and didn't know what to say. So I asked what about the list of things on the referral. She stated "what referral, I don't know anything about a referral. I advised her it has to be in a file as I had just given at check in . The rep scanned it and didn't return it to me. Dr Amin abruptly stood and left the room, never saying anything. After 10min, falling asleep I proceed to leave, meet nurse in hall and asked we're done right? I WAS DONE...
