Dr. Neha Tyagi, MD

Dr. Tayagi is still new to me. She ordered labs the first time we met, and wanted them done 1 week before the appointment to review them. I had already planned a trip that might interfere. I saw her about a month before the review and asked if i could do the labs while I was there, since I hadn't eaten. She seemed annoyed and said 'I tell you again..1 week..' I have been trying for years to get a referral to rheumatology or immunology, because I have had at least 1 or 2 autoimmune conditions, maybe more.I mentioned arthritis and said i know I at least have OA, she said dismissively 'It might be regular arthritis.' Is that RA? I want to be tested for psA.When I said I had alopecia years ago, she said 'It might have been a fungal infection. '. When I made an apt to discuss allergies, she refused to send me to an allergist for tests. She prescribed 2 new drugs and said to avoid alergens. I can only guess what I'm allergic to. She noticed my disappointment. I tried to explain .

I've been a patient of Dr. Tyagi's for a year and she's only ever just been okay. Her bedside manner is pretty poor, she doesn't explain things well, and she can be a little rude, but she was okay. However when I had to see her for an urgent medical issue she was very annoyed about having to stay late to squeeze me in and refused to explain anything to me or tell me what tests she was running or next steps. She got annoyed at me for being upset about my health outcomes and the potential need for brain surgery and continued to talk over me and ask me questions while I cried while she huffed and sighed. She wouldn't explain anything and whenever I asked she just kind of dismissed me and acted like I was stupid for not understanding. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Tyagi for one year now. She is very kindhearted and listens to my concerns. She has been able to take care of everything I have asked for and more. I had an issue where I had to be referred out to a specialist and I felt like Dr. Tyagi made it an easy process. I know a lot of doctors are booked out really far but I appreciate that I'm able to get in to see Dr. Tyagi without waiting a really long time. Her response time to responding to my messages and lab results are quick so I'm a very satisfied patient and highly recommend her to others!

Dr. Tyagi is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my mom's health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. She always goes extra mile for the best diagnosis and great suggestions to provide the best patient care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

Dr. Tyagi was assigned my primary care at Ampla in Chico. I have had many primary care physicians due to my chronic medical condition and moving around. She was one of the most understanding and comforting doctors I have been with. Having the routine of new doctors she heard my explanations and took general interest in my as a patient. I explained my condition and current treatment and she actually looked at my medical file.

Dr Tyagi is an excellent physician. I can not thank her enough for her care.

I was a patient at Ampla Health in Chic CA. I had Dr. Neha Tyagi as my physician. I had a lump at my prostate of which Dr. Tyagi never bothered to assess. Instead she ordered ultra sound to be done. She assumed that my problem wasnt my prostate but rather a gastrointestinal issue. It wasnt. Finally after being told by two radiological ultra sound agencies that they did not do ultra sound on the prostate, I made another appt, with Dr. Tyagi to assess the lump on my prostate so I could get an MRI done. At this appt I waited for Dr. Tyagi in a room for 1 hr. When she came in to see me she told me that she would bring her medical assistant in with her to assess my prostate and that I would need to drop my pants. She said she would be back in 5 minutes, She came back in 15 minutes with a medical assistant and screamed at me saying "I told you to have your pants down" I couldnt believe she thought she could talk to me that way. I reported her and refused to be seen by this horrible doctor.

I went to see Dr. Tyagi about my knee that has been swollen for the past 2 months. She ignored everything I said and wanted to prescribe me blood pressure medication. When I asked her for an MRI she tried to discourage me and informed me that insurance companies don't like to pay for those are recommended physical therapy, I asked her what good would that do if we don't know what's wrong? I could care less if she has bad bedside manners as long as she does her job, but she honestly could care less about the pain I was in or how she blatantly didn't listen to my concerns or fear. She's by far the worst doctor I've ever seen!
