Billing person hard to deal with
I’ve had two interactions with his billing or insurance person in the past year. She does not seem to understand the requirements of her job, has even asked me to intercede with my insurance for her. She did not identify herself either time we spoke or explain what the issues were and interrupted me when I was trying to get clarification. She even argued with the Blue Cross Blue Shield representative who called on my behalf and hung up on them! As a result I am looking for a different doctor.

He hadn’t reviewed my (extensive) chart or test results. He gave a reason for my symptoms that I swear he made up on the spot, and stuck “fibromyalgia “ as the diagnosis. Said to double one of my meds, but didn’t give prescription.

Just saw Dr Tan for an evaluation . He was so kind ,patient and thorough. Very happy to have been referred to him and feeling positive about his expertise in the rheumatology field. Feeling hopeful for a change. Highly recommend.

He is lacking empathy. He is very standoffish when it comes to helping you in your time of need. He sadly acts like your condition isnt his problem and he is just there to monitor you, not help. I really think he is burnt out or just isnt passionate about his job. He doesnt like to listen, he thinks since he is the dr he knows all, which is not true because as patients we know our body the best! Suppose to be a highly recommended dr in town but has fallen short in all the important categories for patient care with me.
