Arrogant, pushes his supplements, always running late

'Dr K schedules unnecessary exams, lies about your condition to have you do more tests, gets upset if you don't buy his anti-aging supplements, requires you to make additional visit just to read your blood result which can be done in 5 min for billing'

My husband was hospitalized this year. Dr. Kraucak was terrific in advocating for him while in the hospital. The nursing staff commented that Dr K. Is known to be a strong and effective advocate for his patients in hospital. This was so comforting in a otherwise very stressful situation.

Dr K does a very thorough and explains everything very well.

I initially went to see Dr. Kraucak for Bio Identical hormone therapy. Lots of unnecessary tests were performed in the next few weeks from that initial visit. Appointments were scheduled for blood work, ekg, sonogram, thyroid , hand scan, gyn exam. Each test required a separate appointment to go over the results. By now its been 3 weeks and 5 appointments. At every appointment he tried to sell me supplements. On the last appointment I told him we needed to review the blood work he had for several weeks. He continued to try and sell me supplements. He only wanted questions before he went over any results and not after. Every appointment he was an hour or more late and then spent 5 minutes with me. He became angry when I declined supplements and said I just wanted the hormone therapy. He stormed out of the office. I cancelled any further appointments. One the most arrogant and unprofessional doctors I have ever been to in my life.

i would like to get reminders of my appointments thru texting. i like it that my Dr & my Practitioner spends time with me explaining & listening to my concerns. thank you. i like it that i can ask the iv tech & all the nurses any questions & they take time to answer me or find out the answers, i dont like being herded in & herded out. i like it that this staff is honest with me, too. 1 thing i dont really like is not being able to get ahold of my Dr or my Practitioner after hrs/open 4 days only

Aside from taking my weight, blood pressure, and temperature, which I can perform at any BP kiosk, CVS pharmacy, health department, etc., my first office visit was in not medically related. The first office visit was "meet and greet." In reality, I did meet Dr. Kraucak and he did inform me how he planned to bring me into practice and manage my health. I though managing my health was a team effort, which included me. However, neither Dr. Kraucak nor his staff attempted to “meet me” or really took heed to my input, personal history, or my knowledge/background as a practicing registered nurse. The team took no interest my input. Dr. Kraucak and his staff worked to their own agendas, self-interest, and appeared to be more interested in getting me out in less than 10 minutes. There was no discussion about my health or current medications. Rather it felt as if they were condescending when Dr. Kraucak informed me the need to stop certain medications due to the potential for organ damage.

Dr. K. clearly explained each of the test results and what can be done to bring them back in range.

Really appreciate Dr. Kraucak's expertise. Good insights, great diagnostics, but often things feel rushed. After one test the doctor came in and told me things were fine. No explanation. Sometimes caring for and about patients seems to need a little more time than given. If there's not enough time to do that, maybe schedule a few less patients at a time? Thanks for bringing on great staff, especially Gretta!

Dr. K. always covers all items and tests; he is very thorough. The only complaints I have is multiple appts instead of covering all at once and the long wait times. I wouldn't mind the multiple appts so much if the wait wasn't so extensive. Never in earlier than an hr wait.

Initially he was helpful, but when I started questioning things he became hostile and unprofessional. More concerned with profit than anything. When I went for another opinion after getting worse under his care, he was rude and so nasty. Come to find out from another specialist—he misdiagnosed me. You wait about an hour to see him and he makes multiple appointments as he does not want to take care of more than one problem at a time. Greedy and all about profit.

He was the only physician who tested for lupus and that is what my wife had. He is a really great doctor. Looks at the nutritional needs of the patient carefully.
