Dr. Nereida Parada, MD

I had an absolutely wonderful appointment with Dr. Parada yesterday. She is the most knowledgeable physician that I have ever seen for what is an extremely complicated and challenging condition. I left feeling that she knows what is wrong with me, but even more that she cares enough to handle anything. She made me calm and listened to my every word in order to get a full picture of my condition. She took time and didn’t rush me.

I had a first appointment with Dr Nereida Parada which was not scheduled but she fit me in because of my concerns about a pre op chest X-ray that showed scarring on my lungs. I was very concerned and Dr Parada was calm, gentle and able to relax my fears by explaining my chest X-ray to me as well as show me the X-ray which she explained every detail so I had a better understanding of what it meant. She ran other tests right away and they came back normal. She was able to read my body language as well as determine exactly how I was feeling. She is very empathetic. These qualities in a physician are so important, they can help a patient feel comfortable and confident which is also imperative in connecting with your doctor as well as managing your emotions so you are able to understand what is happening with your health. I would recommend Dr Nereida Parada to everyone because she is an excellent physician but equally as important, she truly cares about her patients.
