Dr. Ngozi Osondu, MD

I went in to see her for a follow up visit recently - I had recovered from a recent brief inpatient stay at a nearby hospital for COVID pneumonia. Things had gone well and I recovered in a few days. So instead of the usual modern day 'very short, uninformative MD visit', we talked for about 15 minutes about management of COVID pneumonia, and the discussion was helpful and informative - a kind of enlightening conversation many patients cannot get in today's world. I'd be happy to see her again, and recommend her for Infectious Disease. She is very intelligent and has about 30 years of experience. She knows what she is doing.

Complete waste of time going to see her. She wouldn’t listen, talked negatively about our other Dr she doesn’t even know. She was extremely unhelpful.

Dr. Osandu literally saved my life. Many years ago, I contracted C-diff. For those who don't know, this terrible infection literally ravages your immune system, in addition to making you very ill. Despite months pf treatment at Mayo clinic, by the end of my trials, I had contracted Pneumonia, Influenza B, and a horrible Sinus infection. I finally ended up in the ER at the hospital in Deer Valley and then in the ID ward. Doctor Osandu walked in, immediately started appropriate treatment, and within 5 days gave me back what other doctors could not do in 9 mos: my health. I highly reccommend this wonderful and compassionate doctor.

She is kind and respectful. She asks good questions and listens well. She is forthcoming about her assessment and treatment recommendations. She is confident and professional. I felt I could trust her. She reassured me and helped me understand what was going on with my infection. I recommend her without reservation.
