Life Saver
Dr. Do did an emergency craniotomy after a tumor was found in the L posterior of my Dad's brain. My Dad is 85 years old, but in overall good health. The surgery went perfectly and I was shocked at the level of genuine caring concern Dr. Do had for my Dad. He placed multiple calls to me so that he could check up on my Dad. Dr. Do is an incredible neurosurgeon that has fantastic bedside manner (... not easy to find in neurosurgeons) My family would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Do

He saved my life (literally)
Dr. Do is not only extremely talented, but he really cares, not rushed and an amazing positive bedside manner. I was moments from death with what I think is called a sub dermal hematoma - brain herniation His professional work ethic mixed with his sincere caring is like nothing I have ever seen in my 65 years I am sure without him (and the man upstairs) I would not be here. I was admitted on 3-11, ICU on 3-12 and home on 3-13 with NO after effects other than a bald head LOL- He is the BEST!

Dr. Do has the highest level of integrity.
Dr. Nguyen Do provided exceptional care and support for my family and me during my dad's time at Regional Medical Center. His commitment to his patients was evident in every interaction. Unlike many doctors who are often rushed, Dr. Do took the time to call us daily with updates, ensuring we were always informed and comfortable with the process. He answered all our questions thoroughly and with genuine care, demonstrating an unparalleled level of dedication and integrity. Dr. Do not only advocated tirelessly for my dad to receive the best possible care but also supported our family through a very stressful period. Words cannot fully express our gratitude for his unwavering support and compassion. We are deeply thankful for his exceptional care and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a truly dedicated surgeon.

Excellent surgeon and very kind
Dr Do thoroughly explained my condition and options at my first visit and was very kind. He expedited my surgery because I was in so much pain. He is an excellent surgeon and has a very caring bed side manner. I am so thankful that I chose him for my surgery.

Excellent Initial Visit
I recently saw Dr Do for a second opinion and evaluation of lower lumbar disc disease. The visit was unrushed and he was thorough in his evaluation of my MRI and review of my clinical records. He discussed in detail his clinical assessment and recommendations. I have confidence in this neurosurgeon.

Dr. Do is outstanding and I highly recommend him. He assessed my condition, reviewed my images and knew exactly what needed to be done. My pain score was easily 10+ before surgery and immediately following the pain was gone. After months and months of pain, its gone. Such a relief and I owe my successful surgery to him and the surgical team. His professionalism and bedside manner made me think i was his only patient. Thank you Dr. Do.

I had a chance to discuss the possibility for a multi-level cervical disc surgery. He gave an honest and open 2nd opinion which makes me feel comfortable. He has the knowledge in depth and he is so humble even he has 3 doctor certifications : Podiatry, Orthopedics, and Neuro Surgery. He had a commitment to become a doctor when he fled the country in a boat and witnessed almost 40 fellow boat people died during the escape. He heart impresses me , The awards speak for him.

Dr. Do was helpful with a major workplace injury. 4 spinal compression fractures, No surgery required. I only wish someone had mentioned Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty when I was first admitted to the hospital. It seems to be a better solution than surgery or letting it heal on its own with just a brace. My L1 and T12 vertebra have lost 30% of their height (inferior aspect and upper aspect, respectively) Vertebroplasty and/or Kyphoplasty could have fixed that problem.

I had back surgery three years ago. My bones were cutting through my spinal cord in my lower back. My surgery took 8 hours. I first noticed the pain was gone in my leg and toes. I started walking immediately and only wore my brace for about 8 weeks. When I started back to work it was like I had never had surgery. I stopped wearing my brace and I continued doing everything I had done before. Dr. Do did amazing work.

Great experience! Dr. Do replaced 2 disks in my neck. After 8 months of severe nerve pain in my arm, I woke up from surgery and had immediate relief. I was off pain meds within a week and its been 3 months and still pain free. I met with him twice before surgery and new exactly what to expect (he exceeded my expectations). I will advise that he is direct/to the point when speaking with him. I appreciate that because I'm looking for a good dr and not a friend. Thank you Dr. Do!

This man went above and beyond to help me after my car accident. From being in a coma, to a gurney, to a wheel chair to walking in his office, the last visit, I saw the expression of happiness for me on his face. His job is to make you better, but he has a heart to go with it!! No one better if you are faced with a terrible accident!
