Dr. Nicholas Barna II, MD

RUN don't go to them I saw Larua Barna. was told I need cataract surgery had it done in Dec. 2024. my eyes are so blurry so called to talk to her about my issues and after leaving 14 messages for someone to get back with me I went in and was told she wasn't there. I asked for a copy of my record to go elsewhere and they gave me the run around for a month straight after finally getting the paper work in the letter its says we discuss everything with patient 12 times in 6 lines if that don't tell you they screwed up nothing will and they didn't tell me any of the things that I have to go to another eye doctor for and now I have to wear glasses which I didn't before going to her and I have to have another surgery in three months to Lazer off my eyes so I can see a little. I'm the one who is dealing with not being able to drive or see and forget it if I want to go out at night which was the reason i went there in the first place cause i was having trouble seeing at night and the disrespec

Dr. Barna is great and my cataract surgery’s went well but my post op appointment with dr Almeil ( not sure of spelling) was not good!! I had to wait for him for 40 minutes!!! My time is precious too and I should have left

I’m writing specifically about the rude and obnoxious staff. They acted very unprofessional and disrespectful to my Mother. I am glad we decided to go elsewhere

minimum of one hour wait for every appt due to overbooking, rude, arrogant and unprofessional. Poor surgical skills.

True, I had to wait beyond the time of my appointment but as the saying goes-never cut off your nose to spite your face. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The pre exam by the staff was thorough and explanations were given for all tests. Dr. Is friendly, and extremely competent. He inspires confidence. His treatment is conservative when possible. No hesitation in seeing Dr. Barna

Outstanding physician. Most competent. Very professional. Extremely knowledgeable as Displayed by the many diplomas on his walls. I won't let anyone else touch my eyes other than dr. Barbara.

After looking extensively for an ophthalmologist in the Hazleton area, I have found Dr. Barna to be an experienced professional, friendly and easy to talk to and understanding of patient's concerns. I am very satisfied with my recent visit to his office. All staff involved were courteous and friendly as well.

HORRIBLE!!! Incompetent staff!!! Twice they screwed-up my appointment after I took a half day off from work!!! DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR AND HIS INCOMPETENT STAFF!!! ZERO STARS!!!
