Dr. Nicholas Battafarano, MD

I went to this individual for a few years. In the first few months of seeing him, he was pleasant and seemed quite knowledgeable about certain subjects, especially my personal issues. However, his behavior changed after my family had an incident ending with a fight. I noticed that my family members began mentioning things that I had only ever told Battafaranno (and nobody else) about. I shortly came to find out that he was going behind my back and telling my parents effectively everything I had discussed with him. I ditched him shortly after arranging for a new psychiatrist. I also found out that, in the patient intake assessment on my first appointment, he stated that I was "showing these particular behaviors to gain attention." These people are backstabbers through and through. There's not many psychiatrists in Omaha, but just find ANYONE other than Woodhaven Counseling.
