Lost Faith in his Commitment
My first yearly check up with Dr. Benner was good and I was happy with him. My regular doctor in the practice decided to specialize and my chart was passed to Dr. Benner. The following yearly checkup I asked about a problem with my nails. I could pinpoint the beginning of my nail problems to a specific nail product I used for three weeks. He recommended an OTC nail product that needed ordered from Switzerland. As he left the appointment, his departing comment was to tell me your nails can change as you get older, becoming brittle and split. My entire 60 plus years I had strong nails that grew beautifully until I used a specific nail product, but he wasn't willing to look into this product for answers to my problem. And the product he recommended did nothing to help my nails.

If you have a condition that's difficult to treat, like my psoriatic arthritis, him and the staff will drag their feet and be as unhelpful as possible. I waited over 6 months for a medicine that never arrived, but when I went somewhere else I got it in 10 days. Not to mention being given 3 different medications that never worked or made me worse, and afterwards waiting another 6 months to get a different medication, all the while I was completely untreated. The front desk staff would also routinely hang up on me, sometimes several times in a row. I despise the entire DCOS practice.

Dr. Benner is a wonderful dermatologist. I love his professionalism, being down to earth. When I first saw him I had already been diagnosed with psoriasis and was looking for a treatment that would work for my severe case and I also had a problem with cyst on my scalp and he was the first doctor to be able to remove my cyst with out taking out a piece of my scalp and hair follicles. I recommend Dr. Nicholas Benner to everyone in my family and friends. He is the best dermatologist that I have seen yet.

My fiance went to see him to check a couple of concerning spots and some lipomas that needed removed. The hatchet job he did was unacceptable. Then we were never told that one of the spots was actually melanoma and that he would have to have skin checks every 3 months. I'm so angry. He also checked spots on his face and was told one of the spots was nothing. I knew from being in the medical field it needed a closer look. We had a second opinion and sure enough it was pre-cancer. Oh and when the stitches needed to come out on his back, they sent home a stitch removal kit for ME to do! Absolutely stay away!!!!

This doctor goes out of his way to help you any way he can, and from day one I have felt that his professionalism is second to none. He diagnosed and treated my psoriasis when others could not. Very pleased with his care and staff, as a whole.

I saw Dr. Benner at the Marysville location And he was extremely helpful. I am in the process of getting the Dupixent injection. However, the staff I tried to contact have not been helpful and I have not been updated on the status of receiving my medication.

This man was AMAZING! I had been trying to find someone to remove a cyst on my shoulder the size of a tomato for years. He took one look at the problem and said "Let's get that out of there." And he did it without breaking it. Mad skillz Doc. Thank you!
