Dr. Nicholas Ely, MD

He was very easy to talk to. we were able to talk very open about things I usually do not talk about.

Dr. Ely has been an outstanding care provider for me since I started with him last year. After talking to friends and going through symptoms online I wanted to get an ADHD diagnostic test and was able to make a next day appointment. Once going through the test and providing a list of my experiences and symptoms I was able to get a diagnosis and start working my way towards living a normal life. He was very knowledgeable about it and was able to offer lots of advice about dealing with it and what to expect. This has been my experience with a verity of topics that I’ve come in for. I felt like I could ask for more information on anything I was experiencing and he would be able to give me useful information, treatment options, as well as effectively communicate his thought process behind different diagnosis’s and prescriptions. I feel as though having access to such a thoughtful and caring provider has been one of the most positive life changing experiences in my life.

I had an appointment with Dr. Ely yesterday at 9 a.m. I showed up to my appointment 15 minutes early, but when I went to check-in, I was apparently at the wrong building. I attempted to call the office to find out where to go, and of course I couldn't get through as the line was busy. I do want to mention that I went to the building number and suite number they provided, but they never told me what building to specifically go to and they knew this was my first appointment. The office ended up calling me and I answered right away and asked where the correct office was. The office was next door to the one I was currently at. I walked over and arrived to my appointment at 9:04. After speaking with the receptionist, Dr. Ely refused to see me because my appointment was at 9 and I arrived at 9:04. No consideration for the fact that I was lost and did try and call the office, but the line was so busy that I couldn't get through. To me, that said he didn’t care about my well-being. Beware.

Without revealing the nature of my health situation I can say that he was great and helpful each time I had an appointment with him. I like his conservative approach. He’s not ready to immediately prescribe. At least that’s my experience.
