very disappointing
several years ago i went to dr grosso regarding my back pain which i had for several years, my goal was hopefully to get an x-ray, and perhaps get on some sort of treatment routine, i was rushed, treated rudely, practically accused of drug seeking ( even though i never asked for pain meds) offered a list of stretching routines and shown the door, i ignored my back problems for a long time after this due to how rudely i was treated, i now need to go for an MRI, and perhaps something more severe wrong with it, i wish i had gone for a 2nd opinion years ago instead of letting his treatment of me feel ashamed to ask for help, i tell myself perhaps i got him on a bad day and have since shrugged it off, but i would never want anyone to feel the way i felt that day,

Amazing Surgeon
My experience with Dr. (Major) Grosso may not be recent it is worth mentioning. Dr. Grosso performed my knee surgeries in 97 and 98. I had also been having an ankle problem and Dr, Grosso discovered I had a small bone chip on the side of the ankle. He said he would be able to perform that surgery and my knee surgery at the same time. When he opened my ankle he discovered a cyst had spiraled up my tendon. While I was under he was able to locate a second surgeon to assist him in the complicated removal of the cyst. Long story short, my knee surgeries lasted over 20 years before regressing back to pre-operative pain and mobility. I fully believed and supported Major Grosso and I am certain that his professionalism, expertise and patient care have extended into the Civilian Dr. Grosso.

He spends no time with his patients. He didn’t explain the surgery well beforehand. Followup visits with Dr Grosso or his staff were rushed and questions weren’t answered. Calls to office aren’t returned.

I have seen Dr. Grosso for many years for a number of problems. He is thorough, kind, and patient. He has taken excellent care of me, and I am a challenge! For a while, insurance issues had me going elsewhere, but I was glad when I could go back to him, as no one else is nearly as good. He also has a sense of humor, a rare find, indeed.

I went to Dr. Grosso for unexplained shoulder pain, I had 4 office visits, each was like being on a speeding conveyor belt. The 1st visit I had an Xray, the 2nd visit I had an MRI. At my 3rd visit, I was told that I needed a blood test. The 4th visit he was ready to schedule surgery. I asked if it would be possible to use their facility for PT. in lieu of surgery. I got no response. At no time was I offered anything for pain - pain that kept me from sleeping or dressing by myself.
