I was referred to Dr. Kuntz by my PCP as he thought the pain in my back and abdomen on the right side could be kidney related as it came up on a CT scan that I had a malrotated kidney. I have never even heard that before. He came into the office with an agenda to get me out as soon as he could. I was made to feel like I was wasting his time. No bedside manner at all.

Partial nephrectomy
I believe he is a good surgeon, but after my operation I showed him the pathologists report, which contradicted itself on whether I had metastatic cancer in two lymph nodes. I pointed this out to him and he stated he had seen this before, but he never followed up. My primary provider did and I am now in immunotherapy. Am still suspicious of that typo. The difference between Stage 2 and 3.

The office is efficient and I did not have to wait long to see Dr. Kuntz. I was disappointed that he did not perform any kind of exam, just took my word instead of trying to confirm my and my PHP's diagnosis. He offered up some drug treatment but did not offer to scope my urethra. I kind of felt like a number instead of a patient after the visit. He may be very competent but I sought out a second opinion.
