Everyone in the facility was professional, friendly and efficient. Dr. Pefkaros explained everything very clearly, answered my questions and overall was very impressive.

It’s hard to imagine anyone getting less that a 5 STAR experience with Dr Pefkaros & his staff at Space Coast Opthamology. I was very concerned of how this whole process would work and handling the insurance. They handled EVERYTHING with the skill and experience you’d expect from a 5 STAR practice. THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!

Dr Pefkaros is extremely competent, explains all our options; this year he performed cataract surgery for both my husband and I. He also performed a blepharoplasty on my upper lids, which are healing nicely. His staff is outstanding, keep things moving so there is little wait time. We deeply appreciate his manner, kindness, plus clear explanations.

Excellent - everything you want in a doctor. Clear, thorough, professional, competent and available. I needed eye surgery to prevent loss of vision in one eye and was really nervous about finding the right surgeon. No one I knew had any opthalmologist experiences so I was on my own. I am so glad I found Dr Pefkaros. He was familiar with my issue, had experience with it, and let me know my critical timelines so I could plan for everything properly. Then he was available for any concerns or issues I had, and I had a few things that needed nearly constant monitoring after the surgery, but he made it very easy. So many good doctors can be condescending or arrogant and he is NOT that guy. He is just an all around great person and doctor/surgeon!

Dr. Pefkaros is among the best. I’m in my early twenties and have extremely complicated eye issues with both eyes. Dr. Pefkaros is always available, no matter what day or time. He’s taken care of me for a few years now and I am so glad I was recommended to him years back. His practice has very friendly and attentive staff and it is always clean. He will listen to you and explain himself in a professional manner and you can tell he genuinely cares for his patients. If you have not seen him, I highly recommend him as your doctor!

Life Changing to say the least!!

Dr. Pefkaris and everyone of the staff members in the Titusville office are beyond kind and caring. Either on the phone, at the front desk, while testing your eyes and when being seen by Dr. Pefkaris each member of this team has a knack for making you feel like the most important patient on the planet. It is not often that you are seen in any medical practice today in these over busy times that every member seems to have a goal of making you feel welcome and comfortable while in their office.

Very thorough in explaining surgical procedures, what to expect and post-op eye care. Excellent communication skills, Dr. Perkaros makes sure you understand how to care for eyes after surgery. Also explained a disease I have, explained it was hereditary and what my children should do for their eye care. I would highly recommend him for both yearly eye exams and for surgery. He also showed a deep concern for my budget with regards to my co-pay and was very compassionate. GREAT STAFF!

Thorough, professional, courteous, AND great staff. He called me to check up hours after each surgery. How many doctors give their cell number to patients in case they have questions? This is the only one I know. You need eye surgery, go to Dr P. No question the best decision you will make.

Excellent Doctor. Staff is very professional and pleasant to interact with. I chose him as my doctor after looking at Health Grades. The reviews were very helpful and made it easy for me to chose. I needed to do a review to add to his positive feed back. Wish all doctors could be so thorough and explain in layman's terms so the patient can comprehend what is going on. Very happy with my choice. Wait time is reasonable. Would strongly suggest picking Dr Pefkaros as your eye doctor.

He is very compassionate about his patients and explains everything he is doing. A doctor that really cares is hard to find and he is a rare gem.

I was looking for an eye doctor that could take care of my vision issues with the same detail that was expected of me during my professional years. I found that eye professional in Dr. Pefkaros. I have had eyeglasses since I was six and I have never been under the care of such a wonderfully upbeat, skilled and compassionate ophthalmologist until I met Dr. Pefkaros. He came highly recommended by a friend and I will never go anywhere else. You can tell right away that his scope of skill and knowledge is over the top and he takes time to explain things and gives you time to ask things. I feel that many doctors could learn patient etiquette from Dr. Pefkaros. A truly humble superhero!

This was the very best visit that I have ever had to an eye doctor. I really believe that Dr. Pefkaros wasn't as concerned about milking my insurance company as other eye clinics that I have visited in the past. I was given a thorough eye exam. He explained possible future problems, but didn't exaggerate my conditions. I will continue going to him for as long as I can.

I visited Dr. Nick Pefkaros several years ago to renew my contact lens prescription. Instead, I got a first rate eye exam and first class customer service. Dr. Pefkaros was able to work around my allergy to dilation medications and took his time explaining my aging vision concerns. This was the most comprehensive eye exam that I have ever experienced. Dr. Pefkaros was professional, courteous and genuine concerned about my overall health and eyes.

Had PRK done several years ago, the original dr. didnt go through the proper steps to ensure full recovery. After complaining about not being able to see, i went to Dr. P, he stated that my eyes healed to quickly, creating scare tissue over my corneas. This caused my vision to blur, i would need to go back under & have the surgery again in order to fix the prob. Not only did Dr. P go though the necessary procedure to ensure the scares wouldn't come back but he was friendly, professional & kind.

A+ My son had never been to an eye Dr. before but he made him feel comfortable and explained everything that he was doing. Nice guy. Staff was excellent from the moment we walked in the door.
