Dr. Nicolas Perez, MD

He did not have any bedside manners, and wasn't helpful at all while explaining my condition. He focused only on treating my lower back while not addressing the pinched nerve and arthritis that I also have in my neck. He gave me a list of procedures that I could possibly do, but did not recommend anything other than physical therapy. I left feeling more confused than when I came in. The receptionist who checked me out asked if I wanted to schedule the procedure, but no procedure was recommended that I move forward to schedule. After the appointment, I checked the patient portal for his assessment notes and saw that he had incorrect information on there. His assessment notes state that he discussed consequences of doing nothing, as well as common risks involved, but NONE of that information was discussed with me. He also stated in his notes that I agreed to proceed with the procedure, but that is also untrue.

I have had back issues for many years and just dealt with it. It finally got to the point where I was spending most of my time taking NSAID’s, laying on ice or a heating pad. Finally was talked into trying pain management and was fortunate enough to be assigned to Dr. Perez. He is very caring and explained everything he intended to do. His assistant, Rosa, is wonderful as is the very professional young man that assisted during the procedures. My only problem with him is he is no longer here and now I have to start over. God bless you and keep you.

Dr. Perez, gave me two steriod shots without even watching where he was shooting on camera. He has left me disabled, and where I can barely walk. My life has been in bed for more than 2 years due to him. Do not allow this Dr, to give you steroid shots, which I found in research break down your cartridge anyway. I desperately need surgery due to his mistakes...

DANGEROUS!!! This doctor mamed me. He injected me 30 times and called it “a party “. He over injected medication into me and caused permanent damage to a nerve in my face. He told me I “was lucky to be the 1% to get this” side effect . He’s mentally deranged and extremely dangerous. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!

Dr. Perez has an amazing, caring bedside manner as a pain management doctor! He is very knowledgeable and thorough and patient in his appointments with the patient. His procedures are flawless and his explanation of each one is spot on. He lets you know each step as he does ones procedures. I consider him a fine doctor and have referred him several times. I will miss him as a doctor, and a caring friend! Good luck to you and your family!

I have been a patient of Dr. Nicholas Perez, M.D. of Korunda Pain Management in Bonita Springs for about 5 years. He has seen me through multiple neck, back and knee surgeries. Out of all my surgeon and doctors, he is my favorite and the one I trust the most. He really shows that he cares about me and how I am doing. Most of my surgeries have been pretty traumatic. They have been corrective for problem created several years ago by a surgeon using a product off label that cause excessive bone growth throughout my spine. If it wasn’t for the care by Dr. Perez, I don’t think I would have made it through all of the corrective surgeries. He has kept me mentally and physically up for each surgery. I still have several significant back surgeries yet to go and am devastated that he is moving. If his move was not so far away, I would still want to be his patient. I would recommend Dr. Perez to anyone in need of pain management. I am really going to miss him.

I've been seeing Dr. Perez for close to two years. Due to my paraplegia (44 years) I have many painful symptoms that need a doctor willing to think out of the box and be fluid with treatments that meet my needs. Dr. Perez is willing to color outside the lines to find the treatment(s) that will give me relief.

Dr Perez has been my pain management physician for 4+ years. He is very gentle and caring and explains everything before, during and after the procedure. He has been excellent at helping to control my pain without pain pills or other oral medications. He is the best!!! Thank you Dr Perez!

Dr. Perez is one of the best doctors ever. I have been having shoulder pain and once I began treatment it sure has been a lot better. He is truly an angel and I will miss him so much. He is attentive, never downplays the issue, what every doctor should be. If you are lucky enough to go to him you won't regret it. I consider it a real privilege to have gone to you. My shoulder will miss you! As will I.

Outstanding doctor. When I met him he went over all of my pain concerns, discussed the situation as with me and discussed in detail what my options were for treatment. Always took time with me during my appointments to see how I was doing and how the treatments were working. He is a very caring doctor and only wants the best outcome for his patient.
