Dr Afuape was kind, sincere & provided great communication - she was compassionate & professional

The physician was very knowledgeable, and she explained everything to my understanding. There were some topics I did not know about with my diagnosis, and she explained further as to what it was and what next steps should be taken. Although she was ready to move to the next step, I wanted to wait until I was sure about the procedure. Great experience with the provider.

I called to schedule an appointment based on rave reviews but this clinic will not see new patients without a referral, screening and etc. despite insurance plan not requiring a referral. This is a huge barrier to access to care. Very unfortunate.

I was referred to Dr. Afuape from my OBGYN. Dr. Afuape is a wonderful doctor with an outstanding bedside manner. I struggled for a year and half trying everything with my OBGYN to avoid having surgery and nothing was working. My OBGYN referred me to Dr. Afuape to have a full hysterectomy. I had a few appointments with Dr. Afuape prior to my surgery and we discussed my situation in detail and what the surgery entailed. Dr. Afuape was very thorough in explaining everything and answering all my questions. I never once felt rushed at any of my visits and always felt her genuine concern. I had my last post-op visit with Dr. Afuape today and will miss seeing her, but she has changed my life for the better. She is an amazing, caring Doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
