Dr. Tully is condescending as others have mentioned and refuses to provide care even in the most basic cases (like cholesterol), which leads me to believe she doesn't have adequate medical knowledge or judgement. She prefers to refer you to expensive specialists than deal with the minor issue herself. She requires multiple useless follow-ups to continue with a prescription even after I shared that I could not afford these due to my insurance plan. She refused to work with me on it, and also tried to withhold another unrelated prescription because I could not go for a follow-up. I got the sense she is in the field for the money and didn't care at all about me as a patient. She also tried to push fertility questions on me even though it was for an annual physical (not related to women's health at all). As others have mentioned, you don't hear from her directly its always through a front desk assistant who has no real answers. Overall, would not recommend to anyone.

Something has changed
I’ve been a patient for over 10 years and agree with the 5 star reviews and the 1 star reviews. She will spend the time with you in the exam room and listen to all of your concerns but for the past year any bloodwork result, even life-altering results, she will have her assistant call who doesn’t really have medical knowledge. And if you have follow-up questions, she still has her assistant call back and leave you with more questions. And because of this, I am leaving her as a patient. She has correctly counseled me on some of my medical issues but has also missed the mark on others and caused harm. She can be respectful and caring and she can also be condescending and dismissive.

Overrated
During an annual wellness visit I explained to Dr. Tully that I was concerned with nightly insomnia that was slowly becoming more severe. Instead of referring me for a sleep study, she assumed these symptoms were a result of my sleep hygiene and anxiety and tried to put me on antidepressants without actually asking me any in depth questions about my mental health. She was also overly fixated and seemingly judgemental of the fact that I smoked cigarettes (not great, I know, but I didn't ask her for smoking cessation help) and that I consume cannabis oil nightly (it's one of the few things that actually help the insomnia).Fast forward 7-8 months and the insomnia and fatigue are becoming so unbearable that I'm barely able to function at work. After consulting specialists and having a sleep study done, I was diagnosed with upper airway resistance syndrome. Dr. Tully's assumptions about my lifestyle + failure to test appropriately lead to an additional year of unnecessary suffering.

Awful patient support
DO NOT GO. If I could do less than 1 star I would. Not only did I have so many issues getting prescriptions (that they said they sent but never did) for my mammogram and MRI (and Englewood told me they are terrible when I was there) but I called today as I have pneumonia- diagnosed by urgent care. And I never call, I only do wellness checks. And all I wanted was a Dr opinion on anything to do to improve or anything I should be concerned for and the woman said someone would call back. And they just told me the next appointment I could make was for May. I literally could not hate this business any more.

Highly recommend
Have been a patient of Dr Tully for about 6 years and she's great. She listens, remembers, and takes any concerns seriously, even ones you may feel silly bringing up if they seem small. She also takes mental health seriously which is helpful. I was prompted to write a review after a telehealth appt which my husband overheard, and said he's never had a doctor as caring and thorough as mine was. It reminded me how rare it is, and even though I recently moved, the longer travel time will be worth it to keep seeing Dr. Tully.

Inability to listen. Very limited knowledge. Misdiagnosed me. Could care less about a patient. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HER!

Terrible experience. The Doctor is not a listener. She makes decision condescendingly and provides zero transparency on her process. If you care about being involved in decisions regarding your health avoid that person

She is absolutely amazing, patient, and genuinely cares. She will take the time to address your questions and concerns. I really like that she does not medicate just to medicate. Very detailed and will take the time to figure out the problem. She will work with you and give you knowledge on what you may discussing and potential options.

My experience with Dr. Tully has been excellent. She diagnosed a serious condition I had been suffering from that was undiscovered by my previous doctors at Columbia and NY Presbyterian. She is thorough, no-nonsense and highly professional. She's the best!
