Dr. Nihal Sandhu, MD

I scheduled an appointment for Friday at 2:00 PM at their Stony Point location. The day before, I received a confirmation call where they specifically confirmed my appointment at Stony Point and even provided the address at 1 Liberty Square, 9W.I drove over an hour to get there, arrived early, and waited 20 minutes, only to find the office completely closed. I called and left a message with their messaging service—no response. I then called their Nanuet location, only to be told my appointment was actually scheduled there, not Stony Point.They told me to drive another 30 minutes to Nanuet, but at that point, it was already too late—I wasn’t going to make it. Their only response? 'We can reschedule.' No apology, no attempt to fix their mistake.They wasted hours of my time because of their own incompetence. Avoid this place at all costs!

His office is a mess. No response and no one picks up the phone.

Based on my personal real-world, life experience, Dr. Nihal Sandhu, is the best of the best in pulmonary medicine. I was fortunate enough to see him back in Aug 2008 when I was heading into the city for meetings. I started having shortness of breath & was led to go to Good Samaritan (which I had never been to before). By the grace of God, I am here today because when I went to the hospital, I assumed I needed just a breathing treatment… however, this was not the case. After the X-Ray, the hospital advised that I wasn't going anywhere & that I was being admitted. Thankfully, Dr. Sandhu was able to see on the X-Ray & CatScan, that I had bilateral pneumonia, whereas the previous 6 doctors I saw over a period of 5 weeks prior, were unable to see or detect and unfortunately just prescribed steroids. Dr. Nihal Sandhu was my Pulmonologist while I resided in Rockland County and will be forever grateful to him. May the Lord continue to bless him, his family, and loved ones now and always.

Great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff and Dr. Sandhu were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Sandhu really took his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor’s demeanor has really put me at ease so I highly recommend this clinic.

Excellent physician. Very knowledgeable and kind.

Dr. Sandhu was very courteous and professional, however, his office staff is in my opinion, incompetent. Dr. Sandhu should seek better staff to manage his office. The office was directed to acquire a medical authorization for a CAT scan. It has been three weeks and the authorization has yet to be secured. Will not be returning.
