An amazing doctor!
After experiencing the horrible uncaring doctors at UF health, I am still amazed at how Dr Kapila actually cares about me! He explains everything to me so I understand and is not in a rush to get rid of me. Anyone who needs an excellent GI Dr, he is the one!!

Wrong Information
Dr. Kapila told my patient he was not a candidate for a liver transplant; an answer I did not accept. My patient has recently had a successful liver transplant at another hepatic hospital and is doing magnificently.

He doesn’t listen to the pt
Very rude! No bedside manner. He didn’t listen to my chief complaint and didn’t even spend 5 minutes with me. He didn’t even put hands on me and on my medical shows that’s he did. Thank God my husband was with me. He did do or recommend anything. I hope this man never treats another patient like this.

Excellent doctor and nurse
I was skeptical after a review I saw but he was a total sweetheart, empathic and very knowledgeable. Gave me a great plan. Nurse was also awesome. Will recommend

Poor bedside manner
While I’m sure he’s a medically competent Doctor, he demonstrates disdain for patients and intolerance of opinions that differ from his own. When the nurses are apologizing to the patient for the doctor’s behavior, you know there is something there. I also fear he may carry a bias toward a certain segment of society and that bias may play a role in his decision whether to accept patients into the Cleveland Clinic transplant program.
