I value Dr. Gore and feel as though I have an advocate with my health.

I came in with open blisters all over my body. I told her I thought it was shingles & she dismissed me immediately. She agreed extremely rudely to test for it anyways but insisted it looked more like scabies. Either way I was in excruciating level 10 pain, itch, & burn everywhere including tops & bottoms of my feet making walking difficult, genital and buttock region, & anywhere clothing touches. She prescribed me a steroid cream & I asked to see the ingredients & she only showed me partial ingredients- no transparency. So when I got home I realized there were more ingredients & couldn’t use the cream. Each day passed & she took her time responding to me despite the desperate pain I was in. Friday came around & she said she would prescribe me a new cream for scabies but never submitted it & left me on read for the whole weekend with no treatments. A whole week with no treatments. I had to go to urgent care on my blistered & bloody feet to get real help. She deserves to be fired

Dr. Gore ownplays your symptoms, doesn't trust your experience, and when you ask follow-up questions or express concern, becomes snarky and has, on both occasions I've been to see her, asked me, "what do you want me to do?" as though I'm the one with the medical degree and not the other way around. My last visit, I went in because I was having 10-14 day menstrual cycles. I thought it might be the new medication I started taking, but Dr. Gore discounted that right away and instead had me take a pregnancy test (even though I have an IUD). I lowered the dosage on the medication and sure enough, my cycles went back to normal.
