Condescending and Lacks Empathy
This doctor "did me a favor" as he stated when he called me because I had had another appointment earlier with another urgent care doctor. He was very condescending, wanting to explain the difference to me between a viral infection and a bacterial infection as well as the on a kindergarten level of understanding. As an African American woman who has to advocate for herself and her children to get the culturally competent care that we need, Dr. Majlesi does not come close to showing empathy or concern. I said that I would file a complaint and he said, "Go Right Ahead," with a level of disdain in his voice like he was untouchable. I hope he receives the proper retraining in many areas of his practice before he is allowed to treat others.

Met Dr. Majlesi at an emergency visit to ER for a scorpion fish venom bite. I was very concerned because my wound wasn’t doing well and seemed infected . However , Dr. Majlesi was very knowledgeable and familiar with my situation. He was able to confirm that my wound wasn’t infected and realistically set my expectations of what my healing process will look like . He was very compassionate , professional , and honest . I would highly recommend Dr. Majlesi and plan to see him again when And if I have any future toxicologist needs.
