Dr. Nimesh Patel, MD

My husband & I as well as other family members have been going to Dr. Patel for over 10 years now. We are all happy with his services & follow ups.

I have been visiting Dr. Patel for about 20 years, he is very involved in my health care, proactive, and suggests additional exercises to help me improve my general well-being. I would not change for any other doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Patel since he opened his practice and wouldnt go anywhere else. He is professional, kind and compassionate. He takes the time to answer all of my questions and tells me what I need to do to improve my health. My entire family sees Dr. Patel.

My family has been seeing Dr Patel for approx 15 years. I have always known Dr Patel to be very professional and the staff has worked hard to make available appointments, even at the last minute, always. He is someone that you know will always be there, even in this sometimes impersonal, massive city of Katy. He is especially good, in my opinion, dealing with teenagers, whether it be someone to talk to, taking all the time they need. He is exceptionally good at making them feel important and speaking of the importance to be the best you can be. And yes, he will let you know if you could be the source of the health problem, like overweight and not exercising. This is his job!!! Which in my opinion, he takes a lot of pride in. I am a nurse and have recommended Dr Patel to many friends and co-workers who couldn't thank me enough. Keep doing what your doing, Dr Patel, Katy needs you. Sincerely, Mary Beth Thibodeaux

This is the WORST doctors office I have EVER been to. I've been there multiple times for checkups, but TWICE I've been there with either a fever or a serious sinus infections and BOTH TIMES they did not treat me. No flu test, strep test, no steroid shot, no prescription, NOTHING; and they billed my insurance company 2x the amount I've paid in the past. I will never be back. Not to mention, I visited during COVID-19 and they have zero sanitary precautions (no face coverings, hand sanitizer in place and the entire office is disgusting. Nimesh Patel and his nurse practitioner do not care about their patients, only the money. Wish I could give it zero stars.

My parents went to him for years and I'm surprised that my step-dad didn't die under his care. He was over-medicated and was losing consciousness. They went in multiple times telling Dr Patel what was happening and he rudely told them that was all he could do. The result? A compression fracture in my stepdad's back due to falling from passing out. That injury required surgery that has only somewhat relieve his pain. They are no longer able to travel to visit us in Dallas, which means they now won't be able to see their great-granddaughter when she arrives. They almost didn't make it to my daughter's wedding. I paid for them to stay a night at a hotel so that they could stretch out the drive over two days. I begged my mom for years to find a new doctor. Now they are going to a fantastic doctor who has taken him off many of his medications. My mom is now getting back the man she knew for all these years. He disappeared under Dr Patel's care.

He is the worst doctor I have come across. He is NOT helpful in the diagnosis. Talks very rudely to his patients. His license should be revoked.

Pros: Very knowledgeable, very friendly and takes the time to explain everything. Can always get an appointment when I need one and is flexible with his schedule to fit me in at start or end of day. Good with making appropriate referrals to specialists as well. Cons: Front desk staff often need to be asked more than once to send along test results via email. They'll call with the results when they're ready, but they're not as on-the-ball as they should be with emailing full test information.

Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to your concerns. I have never felt like I was rushed through the system or had a long wait. They have always been able to work me in if I have needed a last minute appointment due to an illness. I have been a patient of his for years and will continue to be one.

He is onest and has helped me a lot I would recommend him to anyone

I have found Dr. Patel to be very caring, and through in checking my health. He has always answered every reasonable request that I have made including filling out employment forms for me. I trust him with all of my care. He takes the time needed to review my health and my medications. His staff are very sweet and helpful. I live in La. , but frequently stay in Katy with my son. I would not go to any other doctor here in Texas while I am here. I would even say he is the best Dr. I have.

I have had two experiences with Dr. Patel. The first one I couldn't be seen because of my insurance card issue. The second one- my appointment was at 4pm and I walked out of there at 5:45pm WITHOUT being seen. The office staff was extremely rude. Dr. Patel did call me and give me a phone consult. But I do not think that I will be going back there. I wasted almost 2 hours of my day for no service. Plus, I had already paid the copay. It was a terrible experience. I want to warn people of his staff
